Babbling Brook COTTAGE is located on a quiet street, nestled in the woodland. The cottage overlooks a babbling brook that spills from a waterfall. The water cascades down the mountain through moss covered rocks. Imagine falling asleep to the sound of the brook. The Master bedroom has a glass door that opens to a covered deck perched over the brook. This cottage has two covered porches and an open deck.

All seasons are pleasant here in the Little River Valley. The weather is temperate, so it's never too hot or too cold.

Spring and summer are full of wildflowers and great weather. Fall has the classic-can't be beat COLORFUL FALL LEAVES that the Appalachian mountains are known for. Winter here is very pleasant. The weather is usually temperate, but if your lucky you'll see beautiful softly falling snow. There are several ski areas north of Asheville, and there is still plenty to do here locally because it's rarely too cold!

We enjoyed ourselves! We saw many beautiful waterfalls including the one upstream out back.This is our third visit to this side of the mountains and don't think it will be our last! We love it here!

We recently got married and delayed coming here by one day and arrived on Valentines Day. We were immediately struck by how well appointed this cabin is. Also surprised after arriving over how well priced this place is. The views are extraordinary, the sounds of the water in the back and the fresh air made us very happy with our decision to come here. We are in admiration of your patch of creation and maybe a little jealous too!!

We really enjoyed our short but eventful stay here at Driftwood. In our 2 days here, we managed to visit 7-8 waterfalls and get great pictures. We really look forward to coming back. Thanks!
