The home is beautiful and is set up perfectly to relax. The view from the terrace and pool will take your breath away! We rented the home for a family trip with our adult children and 3 year old grandson.
The home itself is designed very well for a family of 7-8 like ours. I loved that the master bedroom was in a separate part of the house and even the other en suite bedroom is far enough from the other two that you feel total privacy. There is air conditioning that we only used at night because of the nice breeze during the day. The pool and terrace are simply perfect and we spent most of our
time out there enjoying the view, which is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen! You are surrounded by water and won't want to miss a sunset...we didn't miss one.
Jorge (caretaker) and his wife keep the house and around it spotless and Jorge's wife cooked us wonderful meals for breakfast lunch and dinner when needed. They were priceless in arranging drivers for our outings with our group of 7.
Romanso beach is very nice and is a nice walk down a steep path from the house. It isn't too challenging for adults but difficult with a 3 year old or supplies. We walked down many times, but chose to use a car when bringing down boards and cooler. The waves are perfect for intermediate surfers like us and we also watched some surfers that had a little bit more expertise. The beach was never busy and feels as if it is private to the surrounding homes. The food at the beach is delicious, in the small outdoor stand. Great fish tacos!
You will need a 4x4 vehicle to reach the home over the steep dirt road but it is only about 15 minutes to San Juan Del Sur city center.
We really enjoyed our time at this peaceful rental and would definitely stay there again. I can't imagine a better spot in San Juan Del Sur.

Celebrated New Years Eve in Nicaragua
I organized a group of 8 friends from NYC to spend the week after Christmas at Punta Diamante villa. We were nervous having never visited San Juan Del Sur and didn't know what to expect. The owners were super helpful answering our questions and preparing our visit. When we arrived, our whole group was BLOWN AWAY. This villa is SPECTACULAR. the view was the main attraction, every sunset we spent outside on the pool, taking the same picture over and over. The surfing was literally 5 minutes away and the staff at the house were lovely. All around, one of the best vacations I have ever had. Your only problem is that you won't want to leave the house.

My Fantastic Experience in San Juan Del Sur
The listing is accurate although it is tough for the owner to accurately describe how stunning the views are. The photo's don't even capture the breath of the 270 degree views. Prior to staying here I thought the views from the Lodge at Pebble Beach or the Montage (Laguna Beach) were the best in the world. This property has better views than both. The rooms are nice and everything is new. The onsite staff provided great service. I walked out to the deck to see the morning view and when I came back to my room about 15 minutes later my bed was made and my room was organized. They also prepared home made tortillas and cooked the food to order. Although there are activities in the area I only went to the town to have breakfast a couple of times. Everything I needed was at the property. One of the attendants always carried a surf board down to the beach for me. The bays were beautiful and made for great surfing. The water was so warm and clean that I went every morning. Then we'd go hiking in the afternoon. I will definitely return and highly recommend it.

Great Vacation
Great trip. A very unique and different experience. The house was new in fact the landscaping was being finished up while we were there. The view is unreal it just keeps going. Every time we stepped outside or walked around the property we keep saying "this view is unbelievable". Every room has a different view. The house looks on to two separate bays as well as out to open sea. You can hear the waves thumping on both sides of the house. It's just as described in the house description "it feels like your on a cruise ship heading out to sea". The house is on the tip of a peninsula "Diamond Point". Were two couples who have made many trips together from Hawaii, Costa Rica to New Zeland. We've been to Nica 3 other times but this was the best trip ever.We just keep saying this view tops them all. We're in our fifty's and love to surf and fish. We walked down everyday and surfed right below the house. The main thing about this house as opposed to other places we've stayed in San Juan Del Sur is that you feel your'e a millions miles away from everything. It's so private and tranquil yet it's only 4 miles from town. The staff was great a younger couple who have been well trained. they gave us great services . You never seemed to see them yet when you want something they were there for you. The master bedrooms were great both with comfortable King beds nice sheets. it was obvious a lot of money was put into this property. It seemed as though it was someones house not a "rental". If your going to San Juan Del Sur I would Highly recommend this house the staff and privacy are great but the views are just unmatched. I'm a really active guy who always wants to be doing something on vacation, but for the first time, I was content to just relax at the pool and enjoy the views, it was always changing!.
