You will never want to leave!!
Beautiful, well appointed cabin above the river...you can hear the soothing sound of the water from the cabin and it is a short hike to the river. My 16 year old son & I stayed there and felt very comfortable and secure. Very private! Property has everything you could possibly need and is super clean.
It is an awesome area with many activities...hiking, swimming (in nearby swimming hole/water falls), fishing, site seeing, parks, waterfalls, shopping, finding covered bridges and much more. The Brick Store in Bath NH, just down the road, is a great place to visit as well....especially if you like smoked foods, fudge, ice cream and other local goodies.
You will find just about everything you could need within a quick drive to Woodsville.
I personally loved the private back porch with sunning deck and outdoor shower. I spent much of my time out there with a good book.
My only complaint is that we had to leave! I would love to stay there forever.
Owner's Response: Mindy - Thank you so much for posting your review. We are so delighted that you found it to be precisely as represented on the website. It always makes us feel good to know that others get the same relaxation and enjoyment as we do. It truly is a very special place. I hope you can come back for a stay again this summer. Even though you may not be able to stay forever, the good news is that we do have another acre that is just as beautiful a location a bit down-river from us where you can build your own!

I went to the cabin for a "girls trip" with intentions to relax, enjoy nature, and go hiking. This gorgeous log cabin allowed for just that and we had the added bonus of the tranquil sounds of the river flowing just behind the house. We had all of the comforts of home with plenty of added luxuries. It's far enough out of town to allow for much needed serenity, but close enough to get to some delicious restaurants for dinner. Can't wait to visit again!

I wanted to write you and tell you how much of a great time we had last weekend. The cabin was amazing and was such a good get away from the city for a while. We really enjoyed the the area and did a bunch of hiking, even took the tram up to the top of a mountain to see the snow that fell Sunday night. It was amazing and my girlfriend loved it, she took loads of pictures.
