This condo was just as described. It was directly on the beach (no road between condo and beach like all the other hotels and condos). Very private beach - nothing on either side of the complex. Facility is extremely secure, which is reassuring. The condo was well-apportioned, clean and well-maintained. The caretaker is both efficient and defines Southern hospitality - a local treasure!
The owner of the condo is so gracious, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this property. Nearby restaurants are Shaggy's - the quintessential beach experience. Just across the bay i Bay St. Louis is 200 North Beach Restaurant - indoor and outdoor dining with reasonable prices, excellent service and outstanding food.
We had a very enjoyable and peaceful vacation at the Inn by the Sea, which we plan to repeat!

A trip to Inn by the Sea was the perfect way to spend a few days with some college friends! The condo was spacious, well decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and stress-free break from reality! The view is amazing and the beach isn't crowded at all. We really enjoyed spending time at the pool (with an amazing view of the Gulf) and exploring great little eateries around Pass Christian. The complex is secluded and private but also close to places like Gulfport and New Orleans. We would all highly recommend a stay at Day Dream (and the owners were awesome and easy to work with!)

Beautiful Condo, Relaxing Vacation!

I was looking for an ocean-front, warm, relaxing place to spend a week with a few friends. This condo was perfect! It is BEAUTIFULLY maintained- seems brand new- and has an entire wall in the living room and master bedroom overlooking the gulf. The sliding doors open to a long outdoor deck. The area (Pass Christian, MS) was a perfect temperature in April (upper 70s) and has nice beach on the gulf, as well as a beautiful outdoor pool area as part of the condo complex. Just 5-10 minutes from some really good restaurants and 1 hour from New Orleans. A perfect spot for a relaxing ocean- or pool-side vacation!

Wonderful Getaway

This was the perfect spot for our family of four to get away before school started. The condo was spotless and nicely furnished. The kitchen was fully equipped with every thing we needed. The balcony was peaceful and had an incredible view. The condo is right on the beach so no walking across the road! The kids loved the beach and the pool area. We took advantage of the nice gas grills and barbecued pool side while the kids swam and played. But, because Mom was on vacation too, we ate out twice at Shaggys. It's right down the road and has a fun atmosphere where you can view the boats in the marina.

This is a beautiful condo unit. The pool area and beach front are also wonderful. The pool area has gas grills and lots if space to eat outside.

Perfect for close getaway!

Our family needed to get away from it all, but did not want to go far. We happened to find the Inn by the Sea (not knowing anything about it) on VRBO and were glad we did! It is a brand new complex right on the beach. With little ones this was great for hauling beach toys (we just left them in the back of the SUV which was parked in the convenient 1st floor covered parking garage of the complex). The condo was very beautifully decorated, had everything needed, was comfortable and clean. In the mornings we sat out on the balcony that was overlooking the beach and gulf. During the night we opened the glass door to the balcony in the master bedroom and closed the screen door so we could go to sleep to the sound of the waves. We also loved the huge pool in the courtyard of the complex. One big section of the pool was 2.5 feet - perfect for our little ones. There are no TVs in the bedrooms which at first we did not like. As our weekend went on we realized (even with kids) it was nice not to all be in different rooms watching TV. Because after all family vacations are about the family being together!!! P.S. For dinner - go to Shaggy's for a get outdoor "Caribbean" atmosphere (the kids loved it too!) or bring food to grill (gas) right by the pool!
