The location of this house was perfect! It is located directly on the Strand mid-way between the Manhattan Beach pier and Hermosa Beach pier. The kids loved playing on the beach and not only could we see them from the deck of the house, there is also a lifeguard stand directly out from this location. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck right on the strand and people watching and well as walking and biking. It was only about a 1/2 mile (beautiful) walk to coffee each morning, restaurants and shopping! You can hear the ocean waves from the house in the evening - very nice! The house was great with 5 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed all meals except dinner at the house each day, and even took advantage of the gas grill on the deck one evening as well. We stayed during football season, so we really appreciated the Direct TV Sunday ticket. We had a great stay and we definitely plan to return.
