It is hard to come up with all the words to describe the Loft of Lexington: beautiful, amazing, exquisite, unbelievable decor, perfection at its finest. We stayed for a long weekend with my brother and sister-in-law. When you first walk in to the Loft it is like walking into a magazine. There is a great room, dining room, half bath, and a kitchen to die for on the main floor. You will lack nothing in the kitchen. There is a wonderful New Orleans balcony (which is covered) over looking Lexington Street, where you can sit and people watch, have morning coffee or evening cocktails. There are two sets of stairs leading to two very private bedrooms on the second level, each with their own ensuite.

It rained for almost 2 days straight and did not let up. However, we were still able to sit out on the balcony and just enjoy Asheville. The Loft is so spacious and has a lot of daylight from the windows and skylights making it the perfect place to spend when it is was raining. We still walked in the rain to restaurants, shops, to listen to music, or to have a drink, as the Loft is close to everything. Once you park your car there is no need to move it until it is time to leave.

We had a hard time deciding exactly when we were coming to Asheville. Mary was very patient with us and is absolutely wonderful to work with. This was our 7th trip to Asheville and the first time we stayed at the Loft on Lexington. We are already planning our next trip and know exactly where we will be staying.

I told Mary I was going to have a hard time writing this review as I didn't want other people to find out about it and try and keep it our little secret place to stay. Thank you Mary for letting us enjoy your treasure in Asheville. We can't wait to return!!!

My husband and I wanted to escape to the city for a fun weekend. The Loft was perfect! The moment we saw the front door we were impressed. The Loft is absolutely beautiful; it has two large bedrooms, luxurious bathrooms plus it is eloquently furnished. The kitchen is amazing...we plan to do more cooking next time. You know what they say about location; well The Loft is in an excellent location...you can walk everywhere...great places to shop and eat and entertainment on every corner. It was far beyond our expectations. We live out in the country so watching all the city activity from the nice balcony was an extra. We highly recommend The Loft! We have our next reservation in July and we simply can’t wait. Thank you Mary!

We definitely give the Loft on Lexington a five star rating. The accommodations were exceptional - even better than the pictures we saw on the internet. It was exquisitely decorated, well-maintained, and clean. There were numerous amenities and attention to detail made our stay perfectly delightful. The loft has a great central location and is walking distance to many excellent restaurants, shops, and cultural venues. We loved lunch at Green Sage and Over Easy! We look forward to a return visit, hopefully very soon.

My husband and I were thrilled to celebrate our five year anniversary in beautiful Asheville. Since the birth of our second born is soon approaching, we wanted to be sure to sneak away for a baby free weekend before July. When we arrived at the Loft, we were thrilled by the location. It sat right in the heart of Asheville, tucked away above a fabulous candy store. We were blown away by the modern design of the loft. The woodwork throughout the space is quite spectacular. It also has two spacious bedrooms in addition to a roomy master bathroom. The kitchen was wide open and there is a spacious dining room table. The decor is classic Asheville, with beautiful pieces of furniture that were noticeably lovely. We ate any several fantastic restaurants and caught a movie. There was more than enough to do. I would highly recommend renting this space. It is perfect for a family or two or a few couples looking to duck away for a memorable weekend or week.

We were planning a trip to Asheville and decided to try something downtown instead of the more popular destination hotel in the area. This loft apartment is great, in a nice area and truly a 5 Star experience. The description of the property and pictures are very accurate. You won’t be disappointed. We parked the car and walked to everything. In our block alone we had a Coffee shop, lots of shopping, and two or three restaurants. We are talking about booking another trip in the warmer weather so we can enjoy the Balcony.

This Loft provides the perfect accommodations for an urban retreat in Asheville. We traveled as 2 couples getting away for a weekend without children, and the space in the Loft was just perfect--2 private master suites, separate staircases, and on-suite luxurious bathrooms for each. We parked the cars for the weekend and walked everywhere--great restaurants, galleries, shops, entertainment, and of course, more restaurants. Mary has done an amazing job in this gorgeous, brick brownstone, to think of everything you may need or want on a weekend away. The warmth and comfort in this home allow you to completely relax and unwind. The beds and baths provide a spa-like experience with very high quality towels and bedding, in addition to the Loft's unique urban-style decor. Would highly recommend for couples, friends, and anyone looking for a downtown Asheville experience--walking to any and all destinations. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property Mary! My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend with another couple. This loft has the perfect setup for 2 couples. The bed rooms are completely private and seperated. Great location. If you considering getting 2 hotel rooms, don't. The kitchen, the bathrooms, everything was super nice. We will be back!!

We recently stayed at the Lofts on Lexington and had an amazing time!

I grew up in the Asheville area but moved out of state by the time I was 18 years old. The loft on Lexington provided us with the picture perfect place in to truly experience Asheville in the way I had always hoped. We were able to walk through town and find entertainment, shopping and amazing food without ever having to move our car.

We will definitely keep this location in our recommendation book for our friends. We will also be keeping our fingers crossed that availability is open for us the next time we come into town!

We highly recommend this property to any others considering it. The management is fantastic and helpful and the advertised fully furnished, newly renovated loft will not let you down.
