Absolutely delightful condo! Everything was very clean and tidy, and we spent a wonderful 10 days. Wifi and cable TV worked perfectly, and are a big plus. Perfect location on the beach, with a great view from the balcony. Has the added bonus of being adjacent to the pool, which is a great place for adults and kids, with its grotto. Nearby beach restaurants were great, especially the less formal Sangria's.
We are grateful to Jan G (owner) for making this condo available for rental; we were careful to respect the high quality of the furnishings, and to treat them as we would our own.
Bob and Pat, the on site managers, were highly capable, very professional, and simply superb to work with we could not have wished for anyone better!
Highly recommended.

I was surprised that we were already booked up for the 2014 dates you wanted but, I'm sure you will be happy with our other condo two doors away, it is beautiful. The good news is now if you or anyone are planning a wedding, family gathering or a larger group coming down and need more room, hopefully we can accommodate them close to each other ( two doors away, again right on the beach ).

Go for it....you could not asked for a better place to stay. The condo is in the most perfect spot and very well kept. The beach is a 150ft walk away. My wife and two daughters have traveled throughout the Caribbean and we would recommend this property. The grocery store is a 5 minute drive away (rent a car). Red hook is a 10 minute drive away. If you rent a car put in on the barge to St. John so that you can drive around, ($40 round trip). Thank you

perfect couples retreat

Excellent location, nicely updated condo. Can't do any bettter than that. Everything was as advertised. Quiet beach & close to activities in RedHook. Two good restrauants within easy walking distance. We'll be back.

First let me say, we have stayed in St. Thomas in January the last 4 years.
The first 3 we stayed at saphire bay in recently remolded condo at crystal cove.
We were very happy with the crystal cove condo and saphire beach is beautiful.
The condos at saphire are not all created equal. Some are like new inside most are not. The condo we stayed in was very nice but only has one bedroomwith a murphy bed and this year we needed a two bedroom.
We thought we would give another location a try, Crystal Cove and Cowpet Bay West are very close to Redhook, which is where you would want to stay while in ST. Thomas. You always have hesitation when trying a new place. The fact that they didn't take credit cards just added to the uncertainity but we went ahead and sent in our deposit check. When we arrived we were instantly pleasantly suprised by Unit 41, Ist you get a dedicated parking spot approxmately 50 ft from the condo door.When you open the door to the condo you will like what you see, basically a brand new kitchen with high end cherry cabinets and appiances including a washer and dryer. The condo was very clean and had new furniture and televisions. Two private bedrooms with baths was nice for two couples, This unit also hase a nice balcony with a view of the grounds and beach. The beach has lounge chairs for your use and is about 400 ft from the condo. We had a cookout one night with the provided weber charcoal grill and ate out on the balcony, There were plenty of condiments and spices etc. which you usually don't see left behind in most renat condos.Redhook has lots of restaurants and the ferry to st john as well as a grocery store nearby, The owners had a bottle of coconut rum as a welcoming gift which was nice. I should also mention that Bob is a great host and couldn't have been more helpful. The only down side which was minor was the water pressure wasn't the greatest in the shower. A new shower head would be a help. Changing the mixing valve would also be a good idea to keep the water temp consistant. Taking credit cards would also make new renters feel more at ease, Overall I would give this condo an "A" and would defanitely rent it again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The newly renovated place was very nicely appointed, fully furnished and well equipped for a wonderful stay. It was super clean and neat. It really fit our family's needs to a "T". Bob and Pat did an excellent job of making us feel welcome and assisting us with a lot minor details making our vacation very enjoyable, relaxing and memorable. We recommend this property to anyone.

Best Vacation Ever!!!!

OMG - My husband & I absolutely fell in love with this condo. This was our 8th trip to St. Thomas & staying in Cowpet Village. We have stayed @ several different condos, however this was our 1st time at this one. We heard it was newly renovated and we were very impressed. Everything from the open floor plan, kitchen design & cleaniness exceeded our expectations. What really sold us on being our favorite condo was its phenomenal location! We were literaly steps away from the beach. In fact we would wake up every morning to the most beautiful view & the sounds of the ocean and palm trees swaying. The convience of being steps away from the beach made it easy for us if we forgot something, wanted food/drink, or needed the bathroom. Not to mention we were seconds away from the pool and the Caribbean Fish Market. We had such a relaxing vacation, wish we could have frozen time. Our experience was unforgettable & that is why we haved booked it again for next November.

Everything was just as the pictures showed -- beautiful place , great location! Easy to get to the beach & pool. Bob is a great person to deal with , he made it all so easy. Being there to answer any questions. Our Breakaway trip was great , as was the trip to St. John's. The grocery store was close by to get breakfast food and drink fixins! We would definitely recommend this location - nothing but good things to say.

Our condo rocked!

The condo that we rented was really spectacular. The pictures didn't do it justice. This condo is in a great location on the island...near grocery stores and Red Hook. I am a clean freak and this unit was spotless! The unit was very spacious. My family of 3 adults and 2 children did not feel cramped. Everything you needed to feel comfortable was supplied... even beach towels and a cooler! The balcony has an amazing view of palm trees and the ocean. The property is maintained beautifully. You are literally steps from the ocean. The snorkeling was decent too! The angel fish were especially friendly. There is a beautiful pool and hot tub too! Two restaurants are on the beach. The beach bar, Sangrias, made amazing drinks. Bob, the property manager, was great. He met us at the unit when we arrived. We were able to call him anytime about anything. I highly recommend renting a car. Taxis charge a per person rate. Just remember DRIVE LEFT....DRINK RIGHT! (and bring a GPS!)

Best Location at CowPet

My family and I have been visiting St. Thomas since "95", this is by far our favorite condo, the location was phenomenal, right on the beach! The pool and beach are literally seconds from the condo. The wireless internet was great, I could relax on the balcony, catch up with e-mails and watch my husband and kids play at the beach. The condo was so clean, the beds and pillows were so comfortable, the kitchen had everything, the charcoal grill was a plus. From the coolers to the rafts and plush beach towels everything was there that you could possibly want.
A few places to eat, Caribbean Fish Market right past the pool. Also Pesce, Big Bamboo, Island Time Pub, and Molly Malone's over in Red Hook. While shopping downtown we ate at the Green House. Our last night we went back to Caribbean Fish Market, this is our favorite place to eat on the island.
We took the car ferry to St. John for the day. Cinnamon Bay was fun, used the backpack cooler for waters and fruit at the beach. Went to the Sandy Dog for lunch at Mongoose Junction, shopped and got some great pictures before heading back to St. Thomas. Loved that your only 5 min. from everything Red Hook.
Can't wait to come back, we'll check your calendar before checking ours in order to plan the next trip. It's true what they say, Location, Location, Location, Thanks for giving us the best family vacation to date!!

Wonderful stay on Cowpet Bay! We want to move here...

Bob was a wonderful host - very personable & attentive, gracious, had lots of suggestions for us. The unit's view of the beach was perfect, & the location was ideal: right next to the pool & the pool bar. The inside of the unit was roomy, very clean & comfortable. The only issues we had were with the wireless internet (the wired internet worked fine), the range hood (which Bob took care of immediately), & the phone in the unit. As we did not have cell service, we were truly "unplugged" for the majority of our stay...not necessarily a bad thing! The beds are VERY comfortable, & the bathrooms & floors have been recently redone. We cooked quite a bit in the unit, & there were some staples already there for our use. The community is gated, which is great - it keeps out the cruise passengers! There was never more than a few other people in the pool (which was lovely, & visited daily by many iguanas!) or on the beach. It truly felt like our own personal paradise.
We dove with the crew at Aqua Action, just a five-minute drive to the next cove, at Secret Harbour. Everyone there was great, visibility was 60' or better, water was 82 degrees (no wetsuits), & we loved the Ledges of Little St. James and Buck Island Reef. We walked to the end of the parking lot, down steps to the St. Thomas Yacht Club to fish with Chris - caught three, two were large king mackerels (good eating!). We took a car barge over to St. John's one day - snorkeling at Waterlemon Cay/Leincester Bay was FABULOUS. The snorkeling at Cowpet Bay (day & night) was not bad - lots of fish, even a stingray - but the trek over to snorkel at Leincester was definitely worth it. Went to Magens Bay beach one day - a very pretty beach, few people there (go on a non-cruise day); quite relaxing. Lovely sail from the Ritz (5-minute walk) to St. John; open bar to & fro, awesome dinner at Zozo's.
We ate at the Old Stone Farmhouse near Magens; WONDERFUL dinner! Also liked the food at Sangria's beach bar onsite at Cowpet Bay, Jen's downtown, and Hook Line & Sinker in Frenchtown (although service there is a bit slow). My new favorite drink: Painkillers!
The flowers, views, & weather were perfect, and even though the roads are very narrow & hilly (and driving on the left a bit unnerving), we were very glad to have rented a car. Hopefully the owners will choose to take credit cards in the future; ATM withdrawals on the island are max $500 per day (so plan accordingly). We will be back!!

Didn't know I should or could submit a response untill recently. Sorry for the phone and internet problem,they've been corrected. As far as the exhaust fan goes, that's long gone. We have completely renovated the condo, new bathroom vanities, all new kitchen, all new appliances, all new furniture, Granite conter tops ( center Island is 14 ft 6 inches long). From the moment you open the front door you can see the beach. Take a look at new new pictures on our site, you will not reconize it.
We also should have a 2nd Condo shortly that is completly redone, also on the Beach two doors aways.
