The boat is located on a beautiful canal in the Jordaan -- a central & historic district with excellent shopping, markets, food and photo opportunities everywhere you look! From the front door, it's just a short walk or bike ride to the city center & Amsterdam Centraal train station.

From the 1920’s this boat carried goods and cargo throughout the Netherlands & Europe. Now, it rests at one of the most beautiful and scenic canals in Amsterdam, converted to a beautifully crafted and unique living space. This boat features an open floor plan, with many artistically-crafted details. Skylights, port holes and big windows throughout maximize the natural light.

The large upstairs “steering room”, one of many unique feature of this boat, has been converted into a comfortable sitting lounge offering panoramic views of our historic neighborhood.

Very relaxing, roomy place to stay in Amsterdam

This canal boat is truly a special dream location to stay in while visiting the Jordaan/Amsterdam. The owner was very easy and pleasant to deal with and he communicates very quickly to inquiries, concerns and questions. The boat was quite roomy, well decorated, clean, had great amenities and a superb location. While there is some noise and a bit of motion of the boat from tour and private boats passing by quite regularly, you get used to it pretty quickly. I get VERY carsick/seasick and didn't have a problem with the boat's motion as it was so mild. It's great fun to sit in the cozy wheel house, open up the curtains and windows and watch the busy buzz of the world go by on the streets and the bridge. This was a true oasis for us during a hectic week of my husband attending the IBC conference. We really appreciated the washer and dryer!! This owner/property is highly recommended.

We had a perfect stay on the Anjo. Great location on a quieter canal- voted the prettiest in Amsterdam. We won't disagree with that. Ben was very helpful with all the details. We are looking forward to coming back and will certainly stay here again.

very cozy and clean - ein wundervolles Hausboot

We spent a wonderful weekend on this boat and in Amsterdam. The boat is very cozy and clean and has a tasteful interior, nothing, what you might miss. We enjoyed it. Ben our host was very accommodating and very nice. Some foods in the fridge for breakfast and drinks were provided, which we had not expected, but we are very delighted. A nice place to relax after a long walk through Amsterdam is the former captain's deck with windows all around. It has a good view of the canal, on the streets and the way of life in the city. We may recommend this houseboat everybody, who likes to spend a bit more authentic in Amsterdam.
Wir verbrachten ein wundervolles Wochenende auf diesem Boot und in Amsterdam. Das Boot ist sehr gemütlich und sauber. Es hat eine geschmackvolle Inneneinrichtung, nichts, was man vermissen könnte. Wir haben es genossen. Ben unser Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend und sehr nett. Im Kühlschrank waren einige Lebensmittel für das Frühstück und Getränke bereitgestellt, die wir nicht erwartet hatten, aber uns sehr erfreut haben. Ein gemütlicher Ort, um nach einem langen Spaziergang durch Amsterdam zu entspannen ist das ehemalige Kapitänsdeck mit Fenstern rundherum. Man hat einen guten Blick auf den Kanal, auf die Passanten und die Art und Weise des Lebens in der Stadt. Wir können dieses Hausboot jeder, der zum Verweilen ein bisschen authentischer in Amsterdam mag.
