We stayed one week at this home.. It was a very nice home. Suitable for all our needs.. The bus does stop right out side as promised so easy access to getting our supplys. Barb was very helpful with telling us what ever we needed to know and recommended good resteraunts and places to see. We hired a cab to drive us all over the island so we could see the ins and out of island life not just from the visitors view..

My stay at Delaporte Point was absolutely perfect. I didn't know what to
expect as I'd never rented a property on a tropical vacation, only in
Northern Ontario. The house is right on the water with a nice size deck and
very private as it is a corner unit. We felt like the beach and Ocean were
ours as there didn't happen to be anyone else around during our stay. From
wondering around Delaporte I noticed this unit had the largest back deck and
was the only townhouse that has back patio (15 feet away) access to the
ocean and pool. The water was spectacular....calm, clean and perfect
temperature. The house is a great size with 3 bathrooms which come in
extremely handy. Beds were comfy and clean. Bedrooms were quaint and
nicely furnished. The house comes with everything you would require for a
comfortable and pleasant stay. Kitchen is a nice size and very clean.
Having 3 levels also allows for more privacy which is nice. I summed it up
as a beautiful, comfortable and tropical version of being up North..... I
will never forget my mornings of sipping my organic coffee on the deck while
staring at the Ocean. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is
interested in having a relaxing vacation with the option to stay in and cook
or go out to some of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. My fave for
sure was Beach Club Cafe which is only minutes away.

This is a townhouse right on the water in Nassau--away from casinos and hassle--easy to get to places if you want. Great pool right beside this. We snorkled right out front on a calm day

This place meets all the criteria for a realzing place to stay out of the mainstream on Nassau. Not fancy, but solid and reasonable. Great pool right next door.

My fiancee and I spent a week here and loved every minute. We enjoyed how peaceful the place was and that everything we needed was right there for us. The townhouse has every amenity you would need and it is so close to great restaurants, downtown and shopping. The 1/4 mile long beach was amazing, it is like having your very own paradise. We would start each day with a long walk down the beach for exercise so we could eat the rest of the day! The back deck and ocean were fabulous as well. Barbara was amazing and so helpful, very convenient to rent a vehicle for the week to explore around. One the the best vacations we have had! Will definitely be making a return visit!

This was the perfect place for our family of 6. We stayed in Nassau for 6 nights with 4 kids (ages 16,12,12, 8). This townhome is located on the corner of the complex which makes it have a nice view of the water and the back patio feels very open. We used the outdoor gas grill a couple of times which helped us save some money on dining out. This home had everything we needed to stay comfortably after making a trip to the grocery store for some essential grocery and items and snacks. Having a washer/dryer in the home was very convenient and allowed us to pack a little lighter for the trip. We appreciated having a bus stop right outside the complex so we could catch the jitney to almost everywhere we wanted to go. Just outside the patio, there are some stairs to step down into the water which was about 3 feet deep. The pier pictured was damaged and blocked off so we were not able to go fishing, but we did catch a small puffer fish with a cup while snorkeling. There is a small beach next to the townhome which only takes a minute to walk to which is good for laying out, but not a very long beach for running along. We ended up taking the jitney to Goodman's Bay beach and the beach at the Fish fry for more beach space, but there are several other beaches that you can take a jitney ride to. Barbara was very helpful and friendly and accommodating whenever we needed anything. We will definitely check for availability here the next time we plan a trip to Nassau.

The villa at Delaporte Point is beautiful, with excellent staff and friendly security. But I truly think your unit has the best lay out, inside and out!

Perfect for families or couples that want some quite time together. Gated community, close to everything. 20 minute bus ride to downtown Nassau. We had the A/C off during our entire stay, as we felt it would drown out the beautiful sounds of the ocean.

This Townhouse comfortably sleeps 6. Master suite that is located on the top floor, with its own ensuite and walk-in closet, that over looks the bay and view of Atlantis. What a glorious sight to wake up to every morning.

The next level below the master bedroom is where there was two tastefully decorated and comfortable bedrooms with two beds in each. The one room also had an incredible view of the bay. The two rooms were divided by a bathroom to share.

The main floor and entrance was bigger then we imagined. A washroom at the front door, a kitchen with all the amenities of home, including a washer and dryer that was tucked away and hidden by the cupboards. The dining table accommodated 6. Living area was spacious, with cable and a comfortable desk area with free wii-fi.

As we headed out to the back deck, we had a very large patio in which to use and enjoy. The patio allowed us to seat comfortably at its large table and we made use of the BBQ. What a feeling to be grilling steaks, sipping wine and enjoying the view of Atlantis.

To soak up the sun and relax reading Fifty Shades of Grey, we had the comfort of loungers on the very large patio. When it got too hot, 5 steps to the pool or 8 steps to the ocean to cool off.

How nice it was to have snorkel gear in which to enjoy the ocean life in the bay. We viewed anything from a school of neon fish to yellow tangs, puffer fish, star fish to as large as a sea turtle and sting ray, all in the bay that is only steps away.

Want adventure and gambling, site seeing or shopping; hop on any one of the frequent ji nees that drive by the entrance of the villa and for $1.25 and twenty minutes later, you are downtown Nassau. Plenty of shopping, interesting people and plenty of patio bars to people watch or view the many cruise ships that come into habour.

I recently took my three teenage children to the Bahamas and stayed at this lovely townhome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very impressed by the clean, spacious home. The property manager met us at the airport and made our transition very smooth from airport to house. Just can't say enough about her as she was very helpful throughout our stay! Had a bit of trouble with the WiFi connection at first, but she was nice enough to loal her laptop so we could hardwire the connenction. Talk about service! The location is just lovely with the bay out the east windows and the ocean on the western side of the complex with spectacular views of the sunset. Both pools were a nice respite when not wanting to get into the saltwater of the ocean. It was also nice that the water was shallow off the dock and oh so warm and inviting. We did not rent a car so transportation was a bit of a challenge now and then (and most attractions are a bit of a drive to the other end of the island), but the local buses really are easy to ride (and inexpensive); however, the taxi's can get a bit expensive when you have more than one person in the car. Restaurants are also a bit pricey in the Delaporte area, but we loved The Beach Club right down the street. I would recommend this home for a family with children as there was lots of room to spread out and just relax. The owner was very responsive with all of my questions before we travelled and the photos on VRBO were very accurate in depicting the property. The house has all of the little 'extras' you need when renting as well, right down to getting a hair dryer so I didn't have to lug one (Thanks!). All in all, very impressed with this rental.
