Charming updated 1930s Cottage located on third row of Virginia Beach with a very large fenced-in backyard. The kitchen was completely remodeled with large front-load washer and dryer. Beach access on this street - very short walk to the beach and is located next to a fantastic 2.5 mile boardwalk with so much to do including live music, many restaurants, bars and lots of family friendly activities like Put-Put Golf, Laser Tag and haunted houses. There is also an aquarium, golfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, kiteboarding, parasailing, scuba diving, surfing, sailing, dinner theaters and many, many other activities. 108 45th Street, Virginia Beach

We stayed in this wonderful cottage over Christmas to be near family. What a delight to wake up each morning and walk down to the ocean to watch the sunrise. You can see the ocean from the house; it is that close! The house is charming and the kitchen so well equipped that organising Christmas dinner was a breeze. It felt like we were at home. We love the house and would stay here again given the chance.
The owner is so accommodating and attentive. She has left a visitor's guide to help you find your way around and with suggestions for things to do and places to visit. The house is clean and inviting. The beds are comfortable (a huge plus for us).
The house is also in a perfect location: not far to the boardwalk but in a quiet and peaceful residential street. Also, it is just minutes from the main highway to get into the rest of Virginia Beach, Jamestown, Williamsburg etc to explore the rest of the area.
It is also within walking distance of the A.R.E in one direction and the board walk in the other where you can get breakfast (even in winter!) and peruse the small shops.(great health food shop called Teddy's a few blocks away). Don't forget to visit Seashore State Park and Fort Story.
I was so pleased to have found such a perfect rental for us.

Great Beach Rental

We had an excellent stay over Thanksgiving - this house is in a great location just three doors from the beach and three blocks from the north end of the boardwalk.
The house offers all the charm and character described and has plenty of room including several sun/bonus rooms to just hang out in. The kitchen surprised us as it was appointed with a modern washer and dryer as well as lots of bowls and utensils to make cooking a breeze. The floors were recently redone, rooms were well supplied, and the place was clean-clean! The owner went out of the way to supply a brand new grill and several other items that were requested. We would definitely stay here again!

If your looking for a classic beach cottage located steps away from the Atlantic then this is your place. We have been here over five months and loved every minute of it! Plenty of space, well-furnished, and very well maintained by the owner! Plus, you are in a quiet part of Va Beach but close enough to all the action on the boardwalk. Five Stars from the Jones Family!!!
