Although Achorage is not always sunny, we enjoyed some clear weather and could really enjoy the vistas available from the great room, bedrooms and decks. The house is brand new, beautiful and spacious. We even had a cooperative moose family stride by several times a day.

We were very impressed with this house. The views were absolutely amazing in just about every room in the house. My 17 year old son felt as though he had his own apartment while having the entire bottom floor for himself! We also saw the moose a couple of times but this time she had her two babies with her....just amazing. The beds were so much more comfortable than any vacation beds we've ever used.Everything in the house was spotless. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone going to Alaska. Thank you Justin!!

We arrived about 2:00 am and were exhausted. The owner had made arrangements for us to get into the house easily and when we walked in... WOW! The view was incredible! It was an exciting start to our large family's (8 of us) vacation. When we awoke the next day, we had a view of Mt. McKinley in all its glory. Having lived in Alaska many years ago, we knew that was a treat.

The house is as it is pictured only nicer. Nice finishes, great appliances, plenty of seating, and well-stocked kitchen. Bedding was comfortable and plentiful. The biggest bonus was the full-size freezer in the garage where we were able to freeze our 176 lbs of halibut filets!

I was concerned about the location being out of the way, but instead found it to be quite convenient. We were able to find everything we needed within a 10 minute drive from the house. Being in South Anchorage was a good central location for all of our north and south destinations. Having the "home base" turned out to be a good plan, allowing us to only pack what we needed for day trips.

Justin (the owner) was very accessible by email or phone for my questions both before the trip and during our stay.

If we are ever able to make a return trip to Alaska, this house will be our first booking! We all highly recommend it to anyone wishing to have a home away from home while vacationing.

Yes it has 360 degree views but that does not adequately describe how scenic the property is. In addition to being able to see all of Anchorage and the Cook Inlet, there is always something else to notice -- mountains, wild life (moose pretty much every day) and just the impeccably maintained property itself.

The owners have great taste in furniture and decor. They live nearby and were very responsive if something was needed, even tourist information. The kitchen was well stocked and there is a kitchenette downstairs which makes it a great place for entertaining or for multiple couples or families to share. The caretakers are a nice, considerate young couple and frankly we would not have know they were there were it not for bumping into them coming and going a couple of times. They have a seperate entrance and live over the garage.

The house is easy to locate and convenient for access anywhere in Anchorage as well as close to major highways for day trips north or south. It is on the edge of the Chugach National Forest which has some very nice trails, facilities and viewing areas. Within a 5 minute drive you can get to the Anchorage Zoo and a mountain top, as well as gas and groceries.

If we go back to Anchorage this will be our first choice on where to stay.

This house was great and more than we expected. It is located in a great setting and the view is wonderful. The house is very clean and has plenty of room. The owner was very helpful in helping us plan our vacation and based on his recomendations we experienced many wonderful adventures in our first visit to Alaska. I would highly recomend this property for your stay in Alaska.

We stayed at this house for four nights and had an amazing experience. The house was better than advertised! The house was very clean and perfectly maintained, the photos online are great but the house is even better in person and the views are unbelievable. We came to Anchorage to run a hockey camp for four days and brought 4 coaches with us that had never been to Alaska. While we were eating breakfast the first morning a moose walked through the backyard! This was the prefect house for us. We were 15 mins from everything we needed in Anchorage and 5 mins from the rink we were using. The owner was very helpful and responsive. I would recommend this to a friend or relative and will definitely be retuning next year.

I was very satisfied with this experience - working with Justin (prior to booking) via email was a pleasure, and he was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. The financial transaction was straightforward, and I was hoping the house would be similar to the photos.
My family and I were thrilled to find that everything was as shown, and by the time Justin stopped by to introduce himself in person, we had a good appreciation for the house. Instructions were clear, access was easy, everything worked as anticipated.
Access to the house was very easy from the airport, and the views from every room are just... impressive. We hiked to Flat Top mountain, and I'm not sure why we bothered, since sitting on the deck provides a similar view!
Overall the property was very clean, well maintained, and extremely intuitive. I'm positive those with kids would enjoy the indoor slide as well!
Would recommend this property without reservation.

We felt right at home staying in this beautiful, clean vacation rental. It had all the comforts of home and then some. To make it even better the views were stellar. You can see the ocean, the mountains and downtown Anchorage all from the living room. Great place to view the sunset. The house had plenty of room to entertain. We especially enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard. We plan to stay in this home on our next trip to Anchorage.
