248 Old Wharf Rd. Unit D-2. Newly renovated cottage, new furnishings(including mattresses in bedrooms) and tastefully decorated. No need to take your car to the beach,the cottage is less then a 7 minute walk to the ocean beach. (And 1 1/2 mile to West Dennis Beach). Close to ice cream shops,mini golf, restaurants, golf, whale and seal watching attractions. The cottage is on a quiet private/residents only road (5 MPH), great for kids to ride bikes and play. Fenced in back yard for privacy with a patio and a new outdoor shower. 1st bedroom has a full bed, 2nd bedroom has a twin/full bunkbed, and a queen sleeper in the livingroom. Off street parking and a full kitchen. We do not charge you for cleaning or 'maintenance'. HD and Cable.WIFI. You won't be disappointed with our cottage !!! Great Cottage!
The furniture was brand new and very comfortable! There was a fight for the recliner every night!!
Very close walk to Glendon and Sea Street beaches. We frequented Sea Street beach because it was larger (maybe a 8 - 10 minute walk).
Great little community that it's in also. Everyone is very welcoming and nice.
We would recommend this cottage to anyone!
Lovely small cottage
If you stay there, I'd encourage you to explore Scargo Pottery and Fritz Glassblowing Studio for beautiful gifts for yourself or your friends. Enjoy the great restaurants that are close-- lobster BLTs at Wee Packet, homemade ice cream at The Sundae School, and wonderful cocktails, oysters and lobster mac-and-cheese at The Oyster Company. There is no shortage of good food and drink that are easily accessible from the cottage.
The bedrooms are smaller than I expected and have little floor space beyond what the double beds require. However, all the furniture is comfortable and attractive and is a wonderful place for a relaxing, low-key vacation. The owners were conscientious, friendly and committed to making sure that we had what we needed. I would absolutely recommend this cottage.
Perfect Anniversary Getaway!
On the 4th we walked across the street to the beach, and watched the fireworks light up the sky over the ocean- they were coming from all directions which was spectacular-could see them all the way from Nantucket/Martha's Vineyard/West Dennis/Yarmouth & Chatham!
We also enjoyed your backyard, played quite a few games of Washer Toss And nothing can beat that outdoor shower- already missing it!
