The Best Place in Hudson

This is one of the nicest homes that I have stayed in. There is both room for people to gather and talk and plenty of privacy. the weather was inclement when we were there but the garden outside looked like a great place to spend time. I was amazed at how quiet the house was given that it is right in town.

Perfect Weekend Away

This home was the perfect spot for a weekend away from the city with a group of friends. Our group of 6 had plenty of space and privacy but great common areas for socializing.
Only a 10 minute walk from the Amtrak station and you're at this charming corner townhouse. Hudson's best shopping and restaurants are only blocks away but staying in and cooking in the chef's kitchen allows you to keep your sweatpants on and enjoy staying in.
I will definitely be renting again!

We have nothing but great things to say about our stay at this lovely house. We rented it for New Year's to share with four couples. It had everything you need to entertain. Plus, it's within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. We would absolutely go back.

Amazing accommodations in fabulous Hudson!,,

Our stay in Hudson could not have been better if Santa himself had been there! We have stayed at numerous vrbo properties around the country and this was without a doubt the most well appointed kitchen we have ever encountered. The gas stove, double dishwashers, commercial cookware and amazing pantry made cooking a dream for our self appointed foodie natures. An added treat was the cedar room directly off the kitchen and lovely gardens highly conducive to wining and dining. The bedrooms were most comfortable with the high thread count sheets and feather comforters. With shopping and fine dining right at the next corner, the location could not have been more convenient. Our host was super attentive and immediately responsive to every inquiry. The house is a jewel filled with comfy chairs and lots of books, art and anything else you can think of to add to the pleasure of the visit.. Hudson is a great town in the heart of a beautiful area. There are so many cute little places to explore and so many tantalizing resaurants that we are already planning our return! This is the perfect location for little day trips to Woodstock, Rhinebeck, Hyde Park, and cities like New York & Boston are only a couple of hours away. We would highly recommend this home and this town for your next trip to the Hudson Valley! We can't wait to go back to this very spot! Thanks, Hudson!!

Amazing House!

We had a wonderful stay in Hudson at this beautiful townhouse! We were in town to celebrate my mother-in-laws 65th birthday. There were six of us including our infant son. This house was the perfect choice for us. It was beautifully decorated and well equipped. There was a great kitchen, tv room and big bedrooms, not to mention a beautiful dining room and sitting room. The kitchen was especially well stocked with great cookware and supplies. There was also a great farmers market on Saturday- literally across the street. It was wonderful to wake up, buy fresh meat and produce, drop off the food and then go explore.
Greg the owner gave us a great list of restaurants to check out and was very helpful overall. We are not the most technically savvy bunch, and when we arrived we had trouble figuring out the wireless speakers and tv. Greg answered my emails promptly and even spent time on the phone with us to walk us through our questions. I highly recommend this place and would gladly stay here again!

Family Weekend

My family and I were in the area for my nephew's wedding and we chose this home primarily for it's location. It is only one block from Warren Street in Hudson, which has lots of shopping and great places to eat. The home was spacious, comfortable and well-maintained. We really enjoyed spending time on the patio, which is absolutely beautiful and full of fresh vegetables and herbs. The owner, Greg, was extremely helpful and accommodating, and I would highly recommend this property to anyone planning to visit the Hudson area.

Fantastic Home in Great Location!

I stayed here with a large group of 10 friends and all of us were seriously blown away by how nice it was. We were charged a nominal fee for the large amount of people we had but it was well worth it and everybody was extremely happy. The home was spotless, the rooms are large, the beds are cushy, the furniture is comfortable, the kitchen is amazing and a great gathering place, and the garden was RIDICULOUS! My wife made a huge salad for lunch one day using nothing but greens and veggies from the garden that fed all of us no problem. And the rooms were quiet and private as well so everybody slept great. Also, the owner, Greg, was extremely helpful every step of the way.
I highly and happily recommend this home to anyone staying in Hudson who wants plenty of elbow room and easy walking access to town not to mention being right across the street from a great little farmer's market.

Amazing house!!!!

We were at the house for 5 weeks. The kitchen is fantastic -- cooking for 8 was easy. The back patio and grill is beautiful in the evenings. Both upstairs bathrooms are modern and very large. The decor, design, and furniture in the house are all spectacular. All the bedrooms were spacious and beds were very very comfortable. The media center is fantastic as well. We can't say enough how great this house is. Very close to the main drag of Hudson -- one block away from great restaurants! Any question we had about the house were answered by the owner immediately.

GREAT PLACE, GREAT LOCATION, GREAT OWNER

I had Greg's house as part of accommodations for guests of my wedding. They had a great time in the house, all the amenities and wonderful space. The house is fantastic. Also, location is key as the house is a block away from Warren Street where most restaurants and stores are. The owner (Greg) was also very accommodating and helpful. Overall tremendous experience and would recommend to anyone.

What a great house. So hard to describe but here goes. If you are a cook this IS the house to rent, A beautiful center island butcher block with cabinets underneath, stocked with All Clad pots and pans to start and also cast iron skillets. A Kitchen Aid mixer with every conceivable baking pan, tort pan etc abound. If you like ice cream, well you are in luck because there is a restaurant quality Ice cream machine on the counter. Don't forget Coffee, there is an awesome espresso machine as well. This kitchen has state of the art stainless steel appliances with 2 dishwashers and a gas stove too.
Not to be out done, walk outside to an oasis of fruit trees and organic gardens growing all kinds of herbs, vegetables and fruit. Stone walkways and patio with a magnificent koi pond with a seating area. What a way to relax while the 33" X 33" charcoal grill is fired up. A center concrete island is behind the grill to store your food and beverages. The island in backyard is bigger than the one in my house. Another great seating area is behind the island. This table is Teak and seats 6. Did I mention there is a 6` wooden privacy fence all around the backyard?
Each floor on this house 4 story house is unique. The second story has 2 living rooms. One is full of wall to wall books and great room for cards. The other adjourning room has a brick oven fireplace, Persian rugs and more seating. The third floor has 3 bedrooms. 2 queen size beds and a double bed. This floor had a full bath too. The fourth floor is the best. there is 55" Plasma tv with incredible surround surround. Music can be streamed via Airplay through the Iphone and stereo. This room has a comfortable sectional and beautiful Art work on a brick wall. The bedrooms have a queen bed and 2 twin beds and there is also a stand up shower in the bathroom.
We had a great time in this house and will be back again this summer and again for skiing. The house is convenient to the Train and 1 block away from downtown. The restaurants are wonderful, great wine store and amazing antique stores. We felt very comfortable and totally enjoyed our stay.
