The renovated lodge comes with 16 bedrooms (22 beds), 16 full baths, 3 half baths, 2 living areas, industrial kitchen, pool table, card room, office, rocking chair front porch and back deck. The amenities include hot tub, private pool, fishing pond, 'Grist Mill', conference center, pavilion, weight room, badminton/volleyball court and miles and miles of meandering gravel roads and trails for the outdoor enthusiasts.

About Owner/Property Manager
My name is Teresa Sitler and I am so fortunate to be affiliated with such an amazing facility. In addition to managing the lodge, my time is occupied with keeping up with my 3 very energetic young boys and all that comes with the territory. My husband, John is a golf pro and on his off days (if any) helping me with my passion which is this place. We are very happy to be able to share with you what we consider just another day in paradise!

Just what I needed. I spend 50% of my time in NJ near NYC and the wide-open outdoors offered by this destination helped rejuvenate me so that I can carry-on in the rat race for yet another year (I plan to make an annual visit, so I will return for a recharge). We walked the grounds while being treated to nature's wonders. Fished for bass as we watched splendid sunsets, threw footballs and frisbees, and just hung-out around the fire at night. We cooked fabulous meals anytime we wanted and played pool in the billards room until the wee hours. The Jacuzzi provided further time to relax and replenish. Photo opportunities were in full force during this Spring escape.
This was a getaway with my life-long buddies, but I plan to make a trip back with my family and even possibly host a family reunion at the lodge. BTW - there is something magical about the beds. It may be the mattress, or the lodge, or the setting, but most likely a combination of it all, nonetheless I had the best night's sleep that I have had in a long time.

I've stayed there a few times and absolutely LOVE it. The lodge is perfect for family reunions. The grounds are beautiful. There is plenty to keep everyone busy....golf, fishing, nature walks, etc. The beds are so comfortable. The kitchen and outdoor grill are big enough to cook for huge crowds. My family and I plan to go back this summer. The person who runs the place is an absolute sweetheart. She will try to accommodate you in any way. I highly recommend Briar Rose!!!

true peace and quiet...and some great golf!

My family and I have visited several times making the trek from Florida. We've enjoyed true hospitality and attentiveness by the staff, clean rooms and amenities. The golf course is outstanding both in its care and layout. It's very scenic and challenging yet fun. The gristmill along the creek is an awsome place to visit and "play". Hayrides, bonfires, s'mores, picnics, unparalleled star gazing and coyote howling were all part of our wknds there and are fun family activities. Want to get away for some real peace and quiet wtih the family or a group then this is the place!!
