Lovely apartments in Lauterbrunnen
We were 3 couples traveling together and we rented 3 apartments in this cute little chalet owned by Teresa. The apartments were cozy and well appointed. We liked the proximity to Main Street of Lauterbrunnen. A little noise from train that ran in back of the property but not really a nuisance to us. The beds were comfortable and we loved having a little kitchen area with refrig, etc. The bathrooms were typical European mid sized. Teresa was helpful at check=in and the stay went real well. We would certainly recommend these apartments and would not hesitate to return.

Great Apartment and Location
We stayed at the Studio apt for 8 nights and just loved it. It was very centrally located in Lauterbrunnen, just minutes from the train station. Grocery, laundry, bakery all just a 2 minute walk away. You can easily get to anywhere in the Berner Oberland area from right here. There is also parking on site if needed.
The studio apartment was perfect for the two of us. Very comfortable beds, great kitchen supplies for basic meals, clothesline and drying rack for those who are on the road a bit longer, and super quiet. The view is great from all the windows and there is a lovely little patio area with table and chairs to sit and relax.
Theresa, the owner, lives on site so that is a plus. She is there to welcome you and answer any questions you might have, and Chico (Theresa's small dog) is there to welcome you back from your daily activities.
We found the rates to be extremely reasonable. We didn't have to eat out at all, We cooked all our meals right in the apt. It's truly the way to stay on a budget on vacation.
Lauterbrunnen was definitely a highpoint of our trip due to the fact that we could come back to our own little space at the end of every day and relax.
We just loved it and will definitely be back.

We keep returning!
Yes, we keep returning to Chalet Horner and each visit seems to be getting longer and longer! The Studio is an ideal base for both winter and summer holidays, well placed for access to the area and local amenities, with great views of the mountains and valley. Facilities are good throughout and, although the kitchen is small, it isn't a problem preparing meals even for 3 people.
Teresa is very welcoming and helpful to new and returning guests.

A Good Apartment

We have stayed at Chalet Horner 9 of the last 10 summers for a week or more, and we have plans to be there again in July.
The Studio unit was the first one we used, and we were in it again last summer. It is a very quiet place that is very suitable for the two of us.
This year we were able to find the Lauberhorn unit vacant during our planned visit. Therefore we decided we would try it.
Needless to say, our repeated visits should be an unqualified endorsement of Chalet Horner.
