Spent a Blissful Week Here

My husband and I just spent a blissful week here.
The house is kept in pristine condition yet feels warm and welcoming. The location is sublime -- a stunning view of the lake kept us sitting on the deck for hours on end, just soaking in our beautiful surroundings. Deer, herons, rabbits, ducks, turtles (even a bear! early one morning) all came to visit, which we loved. We took the padle boat out into the lake every day, and used it for swimming as well (the water next to the property has a lot of algae in it, so it's best to take the boat out to the middle of the lake and swim there.) There is some car noise from a nearby road, but nothing too distracting.
Cooking was made easy with a beautiful galley kitchen, equipped with all modern appliances; plus a gas grill out on the deck. We were also pleased to find that two large grocery stores were less than a 10-minute drive from the house, and getting there was its own delight, as the route directed us down a winding country road with breathtaking views of the mountains. There is a really fun drive-in movie theater near the Shop Rite - we spent one of our evenings there and had a great time. We also visited the nearby Wawayanda State Park, which has its own lake for swimming. Most of the time, though, was spent hanging out on the deck - chatting, reading, drinking coffee in the morning, Vodka tonics in the afternoon...
We left feeling totally refreshed, relaxed, and rejuvenated. We would absolutely recommend this property to future renters.
