This property is an antique cape built in 1845. The main level consists of a living room, dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, sunroom, study and one bedroom and a bath with a shower, lavatory and toilet. The study on this level was once a one room single family home built in 1760. It was moved forward on the property and added to the 1845 cape. It has served as a den, a study and for many years, an antique shop. There is a private courtyard off the study with a table and chairs and Weber Grill.
Climb the authentic Captain's Stair to the second level where you find two small bedrooms, a bath with tub and handheld shower, toilet and lavatory, and a sitting room. The sitting room has a microwave and coffee maker along with a mini fridge. One bedroom is set up with a queen sized bed. The other bedroom has two twin beds.
In addition to all the wonderful restaurants and shops just a short walk away in Dock Square, the best breakfast in town is available next door. There is Thai food, American cuisine, Italian food, clams and lobster, pizza, ice cream, and a pastry shop all within easy reach of the house. Whale watching tours are available in the 'Port'. The Rachel Carson Nature Trail is close by as is the Laudholm Farm Estuary Trail. There are activities for every age group in this wonderful Maine village. Boston is 70 miles South, Portsmouth, NH is 30 miles South and Portland, Maine is only 25 miles North.
