YOUR OWN PRIVATE BEACHFRONT! THE BEST BEACH IN THE STATE OF WASHINGTON! Where else can you find a beautiful protected SANDY and PRIVATE beachfront with warm waters for swimming or wading? This is a secluded, pristine beach that is wonderful for beach walks, beachcombing, flying kites, clamming, or settling in with a good book. Access to your private beach is through your yard.
Nestled in the protected waters of beautiful Willapa Bay; property faces the tip of the Longbeach Peninsula. The western exposure makes for absolutely incredible sunsets over the water (please take a look at our photos). Off in the distance is the Pacific Ocean as it breaks over the bar. This is like waterfront used to be - serene, pristine, and remote. Rarely will you see another person. This may be Washington's last 'as yet undiscovered beach!'
Willapa Bay is a huge body of water that is the oyster capitol of the world. Buy oysters or other seafood from local fishermen, or dig your own bounty of fresh clams from the beach.
Home sits on over an acre to assure your privacy. Lots of room for kids (and adults!) to play or use the commercial swings. Property is surrounded on three sides by vacant land, and the water is on the fourth to provide you the utmost in privacy. Relax in the hammock overlooking the water. Enjoy sipping your morning coffee on the outdoor deck. Have an evening glass of wine in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the view. BBQ your catch on the outdoor deck that features magnificent water views.
Spacious and modern home, built in 1998, is all on one floor and has an open concept design. There are three bedrooms (two with queen beds; one with two twin beds and a third roll away bed), two baths, and even a special 'storm room' from which to watch winter storms or enjoy summer sunshine. Nicely furnished and well equipped to help make your stay memorable.
A perfect location for family vacations, or a great setting for a romantic and peaceful getaway. Close enough to Longbeach or Astoria (about a 35 minute drive) if you enjoy touristy things, but far enough away for tranquility if that's your preference.
Other area attractions for day trips: Ilwaco, Astoria (many fine restaurants and tourist attractions), South Bend (enjoy Chester Club and Oyster Bar's oyster burger) and Willapa Wildlife Reserve. Enjoy exploring the quaint city of Bay Center just half a mile from the home. Bay Center is built on an island, with Willapa Bay on one side and the Palix River on the other. Explore the historic cemetery, the old fashioned post office, or experience 'Dock of the Bay,' the town's pub/restaurant. Buy farm fresh organic eggs from a local. Visit the nearby oyster factory to learn the hisory of Willapa Bay oysters and purchase some to take home and enjoy. Enjoy life in the slow lane!
Home is two hours from Portland or Tacoma, three from Seattle. Located thirty-five minutes north of Astoria, 30 minutes south of Raymond, just three miles off Highway 101 near the quaint city of Bay Center. Just far enough to feel 'worlds away' yet close enough for convenience. This is beachfront at its best.

We are delighted to own the beach house. It is our favorite place to be! We love sharing it with others!
We fell in love with the beach house the moment we saw it! We love the fact that our beach is so private! We can bask in the sunshine, play in the water, read books, gather clams, walk the beach for hours and RARELY see another person! We love getting away from the hectic city life to this oasis of total peace and beauty. It is our pleasure to share our home and beach with you!
We love to make fresh clam chowder, to wade or swim in the warm waters (the salt water gets up to 80 degrees in the summer), swing in the commercial yard swings, pick berries, nap in the hammock, barbecue fresh fish or oysters purchased from the locals, or read a novel on the beach., Mostly, we love getting away from the stress of everyday city life. The beach house is our little piece of heaven on a beach that is still pristine and unspoiled by humans.
