The owner offered us a discount for filling in an otherwise unfillable week, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a great stay at a nice house in a great location, but there some improvements that could be made. The proximity to the beach and the changing sandbars is great. The pool and pool area was beautiful, quite enjoyable, and regularly maintained. The house interior was clean, functional, and supported a large group very well; loved the pool table. Most everything was functioning, although the ice-maker in the freezer is incredibly slow (needs maintenance). Upstairs air-conditioning did not cool, but ceiling fans made it tolerable. The exterior of the house (deck, stairs) are not well maintained. We found the gas grill filthy with a thick layer of burned-on BBQ sauce and bones and only a melted plastic brush to attempt cleaning. The deck layout is very nice, but nails and boards on the deck were popped up in many places, and the wood is badly weathered. While there, the high tides washed away the back stairs to the beach (now water-front); I was disappointed that the owner did not reply or acknowledge the e-mail I sent informing her of the damage. Fencing along the public access walkway would be a useful addition. Many people parking for the day ended up walking (some relieving themselves) under the house or through the yard to get to the beach, especially during high tide (which was under the house by the time we left). Again, we had a wonderful time here for nearly two weeks, it met our vacation needs, and we have no major complaints. But with a little more loving care, this can be an outstanding property.

This house was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 5 kids. The kids loved being so close to the beach and the lagoon created at low tide was a safe, calm area for them to learn paddleboarding and kayaking. We cooked great meals, watched dolphins, and woke up to beautiful sunrises. It was a perfect family vacation and we look forward to returning next year. Thank you!

We loved this house! We were there for 2 weeks and found it perfect for our needs. It was well suited for our families with small children--safe, comfortable and plenty of play space.

The location is also perfect. Walking or biking distance to IOP shopping and the restaurants on Sullivan's. The beach has a sandbar in front making it perfect for the little ones.

We loved our time there and plan to go back.

The house was ideal for our 5 couples. The property was very clean and well maintained. We slipped into Charleston on several occasions for shopping and meals...However right on Sullivan's Island there are numerous restuarant's to sample...
I would highly reccomend this house to large families or large gatherings of friends..

If you are looking for a great getaway vacation this is the place!!!Beautiful home, beach, ocean, sand bar. Great area for sight seeing. Nice quiet area, great ocean views. If you like finding sea shells, this is the place. We had 8 in our group and each couple had their own bedroom and bath, real privacy. Living area wide open for socializing. Great kitchen plenty of room. As you can tell we had a great time and will be coming back! This was one of the best and we have been to cancun,playa del carmen ,florida, and hawaii.

The Title should say it all, but in the event in doesn't, we had a wonderful vacation to Sullivan's Island and this home. Our group of 8 + 3 children were extremely comfortable in this home. The location was perfect...the website pictures don't even do justice to just what a beautiful place this is.
The pool was especially nice to have around.

Sarah was extremely helpful throughout our stay. It can't be said enough how helpful she is.

We (10 total) all think this was the most wonderful place to vacation. The beach, the pool, the sandbar, even the people on the beach we met were all so great. In fact, I can't think of a nicer thing to do with your blessings than share it with others. Thank you. I hope we get to return to this awesome place next September. The beds were great. The towels, dishes, utensils were ample, handy and clean. We came, relaxed and enjoyed because you had provided us a week of paradise.
