In short, this was the best rental property my family have stayed in. The pictures tell the true story, the house is in great condition, and the owner provides everything you would need or want. It is close to the DE beaches and provides a wonderful home away from home. Never have I written a review before, but this house and its owner deserve my praise and thank you, for allowing us to stay in such a beautiful property. We cannot wait to return to stay here again.

The house was lovely and the fresh flowers in the kitchen were a nice surprise! It has a beautiful view of the bay from the living room and upstairs bedroom. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and the house was fully stocked which is helpful. Unfortunately we didn't have good weather to be able to sit outside and really enjoy the deck and view like we wanted to, but at least we were outside for soaking in the hot tub. The house is not as close to the Rehobeth area as we thought, but definitely a in a peaceful area. The cleaning fee is costly since it was only the 2 of us and we were only there 2 nights, we mostly cleaned up after ourselves. Glenn was very friendly and checked in with us to see if we needed anything. We enjoyed our stay and would consider returning and would recommend the house to others, it is certainly a beautiful bayside retreat!

We came to celebrate our friend's 50th wedding anniversary. When we walked in the door we knew right away this was the right choice.

Your home offers a friendly atmosphere, great location, comfortable beds and a gorgeous deck to take in all of the beautiful surroundings.

Glenn, you are a wonderful host. Your caring manner was obvious from the time we first spoke to the time that we were driving home, when you called about a camera being left behind. Joyfully, we discovered the camera was yours.

The weather you ordered could not have been better!!

Thanks for everything!! We will be back.

Our weekend was amazing. WE walking into the house and we were in love at first site. We celebrated our sisters bachelorette weeeknd. WE loved all the bedrooms, the Fireplace was amazing. The hot tub was awesome.. I loved that we were on the beach, I woke up to see sunrise and take pictures. We suggested that you maybe fix the glass table, it was leaning on one side.

I loved how the whole house had everything you needed.

This is the best place to relax and unwind.. Rent from Glenn.. Very welcoming and i appreciated you checking in on us a few times over the weekend thanks so much.

My husband and I spend three wonderful nights at Glen's Slaughter Beach Vacation Rental in mid March. We appreciated that we were able to bring along our small dachshund/terrier mix, Tucker, who enjoyed his first trip to the beach.

The hot tub at night - with the cool air, sparkling stars and ships out in the horizon - was awesome. Don't be held back by chilly temperatures outside - that makes it all that much more fun! Coming in to a gas fireplace ---- it just doesn't get any better! We took many walks on the beach and found lots of interesting shells. The tide went out early evening and the seagulls would hang around on the sandbar. On the first night I was trying to figure out what the large bird was out there with the seagulls. Glen supplies binnoculars so we got a good look and oh my! it was a bald eagle!

We ventured out to the Nassau Valley Vineyards for a self-guided tour, some tastings and brought back a couple of bottles. I would recommend going there.

On Saturday we went to Ocean City, MD to meet up with my son and family to see the St. Patrick's Day parade. That was fun - and interesting to see that on that day and apparently another day when there is a classic car show that one can have a beer and walk down the street. It was all in good fun and it was something different to do.

The house was very clean, in a very quiet location and made for a very relaxing weekend. I would definitely recommend this home for a get-away.

Our long winter weekend at Glenmor Cottage was delightful! My parents, ages 90+ and for whom the seaside get-away had been planned, especially enjoyed watching the ships in the bay, the sunrise, sunset and magnificent full moon on our last evening. They were very comfortable in the lst floor queen-size room and had no trouble getting around. The only steps required were one short flight with a sturdy railing. Being with family in such a charming and easy-living home was the best part! Together we played board games (Glenn has a great selection in the basement), cooked in the beautiful kitchen with a view of the water, and napped and chatted by the cozy fireplace. The hot tub was a real treat! Glenn was the perfect host, even providing beautiful fresh flowers for our visit. We ventured out in the rain to visit the Dupont Nature Center on Lighthouse Rd. This small exhibit is highly recommended as there is something for everyone! Be sure to ask to see Ike, the friendly turtle. It was a wonderful family weekend and I am already looking at my calendar to plan another visit. Thank you, Glenn, for sharing your wonderful bayside home.

This house is fantastic, and we can't wait to go back! Glenn took care of ALL THE DETAILS. Not only did he provide firewood for our campfire - He also provided everything for the S'Mores!!
The view from the deck and hot tub is great, the beach was private and relaxing.
I highly reccomend this property, but wish to keep it all to myself.

House was full of amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable. Glenn is super accommodating and even let us stay an additional night at no cost. It's great for a romantic getaway or for a small group. It's location to the beach is perfect. We will definitely return in the warmer months! Our stay was relaxing and care free.
