Was very nice and comfortable. View pretty as the picture. No coffee table. Had snorkel gear and all, but snorkel mask leaked. Well supplied. Clean. Owner helpful on phone beforehand and gave suggestions places to go/things to do, offered asst. while there. Centrally located.

On our first trip to Kaua'i, we were not disappointed by this condo. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook up breakfast and lunches (we went out to dinner at local restaurants, but the kitchen was fully equipped to cook a full dinner). The view was fantastic, looking over Wailua Bay.

The condo was well furnished, and we were delighted by the snorkel/fins/beach accessories even though we were so busy we didn't get a chance to use them. Just having them available was a nice touch.

The location is incredibly convenient for traveling to both the north and south of the island, as we did both. Great central location.

There was only one small drawback, the noise of the main road. They were wrapping up some night construction while we were there and you could sometimes hear the trucks driving around and backing up. Not enough to take away from our wonderful stay, though!

My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary on Kauai - the first week in Unit 111 at Wailua Bay. The view, the sound of the waves, the fully outfitted condo was just right for the two of us. It was a a plus to be close enough to walk to Coconut Marketplace, especially for the farmers market, as well as across the street from Espresso, 2 bakeries and several restaurants. Luke, the owner, was easy to work with, it was very reassuring that he was there when we checked in, doing some last minute touchups. The only drawback we found, was minor -- we sleep with windows open and there is truck noise in the early AM along the highway -- could have closed windows and ran AC - bet you wouldn't hear it then. We especially appreciated the beach chairs, towels, boogie boards etc. We spent many hours on the lanai in the afternoon/evening -- fun to watch the school kids coming to surf after they got out of school.

The view from the Lanai says it all! Lovely condo that was very convenient to activities and restaurants. We ate at Kintaro's Restaurant which was within walking distance! Owner was very helpful and prompt in responding to questions. ( Thank you for returning the shorts I left behind!!!) We would recommend this property and would stay again!

My wife and I vacation in Hawaii once a year. We seem to come to Kauai more than the other islands due to the relaxing atmosphere and the friendly people here. We usually stay either on the north side or the south side. After this visit, we highly recommend this 1 bedroom condo. It is clean, comfortable and convenient. This may not be a high end condo, but it has absolutely everything one needs to really enjoy your visit. The bed is very comfortable and there is air conditioning for those rare warm nights. The living room also has comfortable furnishings. The kitchen is fully equipped. The view is about as good as it gets. We had breakfast and dinner on the lanai, which was also very comfortable. You are above the beach, but not so close that the surf sounds like jet engines. The condo is well kept and clean, with all the utensils needed for cooking in if desired. The grounds are surrounded by lush tropical plants and trees which are tended to by the staff. The pool area, likewise is maintained and very clean. Immediately next to the pool are two outdoor grills which, like everything else on the grounds is kept immaculate. We chose to cook out twice and found grocery stores and farmers markets conveniently close. Driving to the canyon or north to Haena was easy and thanks to the condos central location, very convenient. I can't believe we haven't stayed here before. You will pay twice as much and not have the view at Poipu, and you can't stay very close to the beach on the north side without paying quite a bit more. You are close to everything and yet the environment in the condo itself is quiet and you feel comfortably secluded. We highly recommend this unit. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks, Luke.

In my opinion, Wailua Bayview is the best place to stay on Kauai for it's central location and great view. Unit #111 was very well kept, clean, and had a totally comfortable bed. Luke, the owner whom I dealt with, was very professional and accommodating, and seemed to really care that I enjoyed my stay in his unit. I would definitely stay here again or recommend this unit to a friend.

I just returned from my trip to Kauai a few days ago and I can't speak highly enough of my stay in this lovely condo! It was very clean and tastefully decorated. It had all of the conveniences of a home kitchen as well as beach chairs and gear to borrow. The owners were very professional and kindly answered all questions and returned calls promptly. The view was SPECTACULAR!!! What a joy to stay at this property. Thank you Luke and Christy, I hope to stay in your beautiful condo the next time I return to Kauai! Also, the town of Kapa'a is so charming!

One of the best places to be in Kauai. Central location to all, plus best view. The pictures in the vrbo site reflect the actual place. Nothing more I can expect.
