My husband and I had a great week at "Jane's Studio!" We truly felt like we were coming home each evening after spending long days out exploring the city of Austin. When we first arrived we were warmly greeted by Jane, she couldn't have been more helpful. The studio was excellent and served perfectly to our needs. It was very clean. We so enjoyed the atmosphere and cool breeze from our private porch in the mornings and evenings. We found all of the conveniences nearby that we needed. There is even a park just around the corner to have a nice evening stroll in. The studio was affordable but we didn't feel we lacked any luxury. We had all of the necessities available in our room. Fridge, microwave, and the absolute essential for my British husband a pot for brewing tea! Jane was helpful with any questions we had, directing us to our favorite restaurants and some very unique food markets. She even baked us some delicious farewell brownies for the trip to our next destination on the day we left! It can't get any better than that! We would recommend "Jane's Studio," to anyone looking for a little haven hidden away in a quiet Austin neighborhood, with the best hostess around! Jane communicated very well and quickly prior to my trip and she was there to greet me upon my arrival. The studio is very cute and comfortable and well located in South Austin. Bed was comfortable, coffee was tasty and the whole experience was very positive. Great value for money. Wish I had had more time to relax on the porch and enjoy the beautiful garden.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jane's place. Quite neighborhood, that we took daily walks through. So pleasant to sit outside our room on the deck and watch and listen to the birds. Next time we come to Austin to visit, I hope her studio is available to rent again.

This was the perfect private retreat for my husband and I! Not only was it immaculately clean and quiet, it was extremely private which included it's own private entrance. It's located just a mile or two from Congress St. and other tons of activites, cafe's and diners that we found very enjoyable. Jane was also the perfect host and only a phone call or text away if needed! I definitely will stay here again with our next visit to Austin and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area!

We had a wonderful time at Jane's studio in Austin. The suite is beautifully furnished and welcoming with a comfy bed, seating area and table and a microwave and fridge as well as utensils plates and bowls. We were able to have breakfast every morning and enjoy the complimentary coffee Jane left for us! Everything was impeccably clean, and the bathroom is nice sized with a deep tub so you could even take a bath if you wanted. The location worked out great for us, we decided not to rent a car and to bike/bus Austin and it was quick 5 minute walk to the bus that goes straight downtown in about 30 minutes.
Jane is an amazing hostess, she actually called me to answer some questions I had emailed her (we needed an extra bed and she provided a super comfortable air mattress!). She also picked us up from the airport and took us food shopping right away so we would have something for breakfast. She even dropped us off on our way out of town! We felt so welcomed by Jane and by Charlie the lab that we wanted to stay longer!
Staying with Jane was the best experience of our Trip to Texas and her place was so much nicer than the hotels we stayed in later in the week! If you are going to Austin definitely stay with Jane!

The place was really nice, very convenient for the activities we had planned, nicely appointed, very clean, nice extras, lovely hostess/owner, a wonderful experience all around. Will be back!

Private Oasis is an accurate description . When we travel we stay at VRBO\ Homeaway rentals exclusively and this one has to be at the top of our List.
Wonderful neighborhood, Wonderful setting and thoughtfully planned space. Jane's Studio has everything you could think of and more. Extremely clean with a comfy bed, high end Linens and Towels. Private patio.. Very Zen! Great Internet connection, table and chairs for dining. She has thought of everything. The Location is so wonderful. Close to Downtown, Town Lake, Live Music Venues, Restaurants and Shopping. Jane is so nice and available. AWESOME Customer Service. We are already planning on staying here again on our next visit to the ATX,

My husband and i are always looking for places that are nice, fun, affordable but with charming extras and this at the top of our list. Enjoy the city but relax in this secluded and quite neighborhood, especially love the gorgeous patio and garden, so peaceful and romantic. The unit is brand new, super neat, stylish and perfectly equipped with kitchen necessities and nice big garden bathtub. Super convenient to buses to head downtown or other fun parts of Austin. I really enjoyed my stay. The owner is very thoughtful and nice as well. Fantastic value that feels like home (only nicer)!
