Escape to the tranquility of the evergreen forest at Ecola State Park! Located right at the entrance of the state park, surrounded by tall trees, this 3 bedroom hideaway is perfect for a large family, as it has sleeping accommodations in every room of the house. Cozy and quiet so that you can sit back and enjoy the view, snuggle up next to the gas-powered fireplace, and enjoy the peaceful quiet and the occasional wildlife visitors in the back yard!

This beautiful newer home has an indoor large jacuzzi tub for two in the upstairs bathroom to enjoy and relax in. The kitchen is fully equipped, with everything you may need to prepare that gourmet meal. The kitchen nook is there to accommodate the ones who like to be in the middle of things, while the chef is preparing the meals. There is plenty of room at the large formal dining table to accommodate all guests. A picnic table sits on the deck by the mossy little yard, where dappled sunshine comes through the towering trees. This is an extremely quiet location, but still just a short two blocks from the beach and 8/10 of a mile from the Convention Center and the town.

Scenic wonders and fun activities abound in Cannon Beach and surrounding areas! From fine dining and family restaurants for every taste to shopping and art galleries, as well as The Coaster Theatre Playhouse and many outdoor activities like horseback riding, hiking at Ecola State Park, surfing, biking, and kayaking at Oswald State Park. Enjoy Tillamook Head National Recreation Trail at Indian Beach, tide pools at Haystack Rock, fishing, clamming and bird watching. The possibilities are endless!

Cannon Beach limits us to only one rental every 14 days and we don't want this great house to sit empty. So, during summer 2013, if you stay for one week, we will give you the next seven nights for free! This house is available in two week blocks for the summer, with the following check-in / check-out dates: June 15, June 29, July 13, July 27, August 10, and August 24. Family Week @ Ecola Park House

Our family of 10 had a wonderful week at Cannon Beach! We have vacationed there often and enjoy the town and surrounding area. This year we spent an afternoon and evening at Indian Beach, finding it to be scenic, quiet, and ideal for a family weiner roast on the beach. The Ecola Park House was ideally sized for our group. It was clean and very spacious, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay (the Wi-Fi was appreciated). Parking for 3 vehicles was good, and the neighborhood was quiet. The house is however, about a 15 minute walk from the north end of Cannon Beach, and the beach itself is not conveniently accessible from the house.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great setting, home, and headquarters

The house is big and fully furnished with couches, beds, internet, and all the home-conveniences we needed to live there for a week. It is right at the base of the road to Ecola State Park, within walking distance to downtown Cannon Beach, a short walk to the beach, and convenient to the freeway when necessary. The big couch-filled living room and upstairs loft provided lots of room for reading and playing. All-over terrific experience.
