Great, romantic, getaway!
Beautiful apartment, and great hosts! Doug and Cheryl make you feel very welcome and are very helpful with any question we had. The bed sleeps wonderful, the apartment is nicely decorated and everything is clean. If the weather is good, you can BBQ and make a campfire. It's a great place to relax and get out of daily stress and work. If we lived closer, we would go more often! Winter Weekend Getaway
This studio cabin couldn't have been decorated any better! This cabin has everything you'd expect and any couple would be comfortable staying here. The location is in the southern part of the Adirondaks. There are some beautiful views and a small town nearby. We did some snowshoeing, hiking, and stopped at the Melody lodge for a good meal. We had an excellent stay and plan on coming back during the summer months.

A Secret Retreat!
You will love staying in this cozy secret retreat! The studio is just like the photos - and the atmosphere is warm and inviting! Cheryl and Doug are wonderful hosts and we really could have stayed longer! The location is tucked away in a secluded area - but is less than an hour away from Saratoga. This is an ideal place to get away from your hectic lifestyle and find comfort and peace.
Owner's Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to write that very nice review. We hope you will come back soon because we just added to the studio an extremely comfortable king bed. The studio no longer has the queen and twin bed and is arranged a little different to accommodate the bigger bed but is better!

Wow!
We were in awe as we walked into our studio getaway. It was such a TREAT to have an Adirondack decorated room. Everywhere you looked was a special touch provided by Doug and Cheryl. They thought of everything you could need for your stay. It was fun to discover binoculars, bird books, wildflower books, novels, movies, inspirational books. The modern luxuries were wonderful, such as large TV (we enjoyed watching Olympics at night), very nice bathroom with extras if you forgot something. I just loved the quilts and unique decorations and would highly recommend this stay. Having the option of a gas grill or charcoal grill was an unexpected extra. Doug and Cheryl are great hosts, they give you the privacy you want, but are always willing to talk and help with tips when needed! We enjoyed our little day trips, but looked forward to coming "home" to relax in our studio!

Relaxing river retreat
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this studio apartment. The listing was as cozy as it looked and everything was clean and very tastefully decorated. The hosts were hospitable and helpful and truly made you feel welcome. There are many trails to walk, drives to take and a small village close by to get any groceries. The area is beautiful and we would love to come back some time!

River Front Studio
The studio was as pictured, very comfortable and well furnished. Our host and hostess provided us with anything that was requested. Enjoyed the fishing on the lake and river. The steak dinner at a local restarunt was exceptional. Early morning coffee on the balcony with the hummingbirds was a special treat. A great vacation.

Everything here is absolutely perfect from beginning to end! Cheryl and Doug are gracious hosts, making you feel welcome from the moment you make the reservation. They have spared no attention to detail and the studio is as comfortable as it is beautiful. Morning coffee on the balcony was idyllic; I could have spent hours just absorbing the view and watching the hummingbirds visit, but the river beckoned and we spent time fishing, floating and enjoying the day. My only regret - our stay was a quick weekend getaway that was entirely too short.

So cozy!
My fiance and I had a wonderful stay here! The studio was so cozy and had everything we needed for a great getaway trip. From mountain biking and hiking to floating down the river, you can be as active or as lazy as you want in this area! We went in to Northville and up to Wells for a few meals, but also lounged around the comfortable studio. Our day trip up to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid was beautiful. We would definitely recommend this property if you're looking for something in the Adirondacks!

Thank you so much for a great anniversary getaway! The room was beautiful! We loved the decorations, and everything was very clean! We enjoyed chatting with you, and you were very helpful with the local restaurant selection. :) We were able to get a peek at your other rental and that was just as gorgeous! everything we expected and more
This was a truly great getaway. This studio lives up to everything the adirondacks are known for, but with all the comforts of home. Think of your business class hotel, but strip out everything that says 'made in china' and replace it with elegant hand made decore, then pick all that up and place it in a beautiful log cabin, but keep the flat screen tv, the kitchenette, and the wifi. The owners are terrific people who really make it there goal to see that you enjoy the region. They let us use their canoe, even brought it down to the lake for us, were great with suggestions for local activities, and an excellent restaurant choice that we went to on the last day. I would do it again in a heartbeat, Thanks for a great weekend!
