We loved our stay at 12 Virginia Street for the month of July, 2012. The house is charming, very comfortable and clean, and had everything that we needed during our time there.
The location is fantastic. We ate almost every meal on the porch, with its gorgeous views and frequent breezes. Swimming in the Sound was great, and only steps away.
Just a wonderful vacation house.

Review of 12 Virginia Street, Beach House, Milford

My wife and I rented the beach house at 12 Virginia Street for two weeks. (June 2-June 16, 2012)

The home was in exceptional condition, very clean and well kept. All the necessary items for a long term stay were in place. Coffee Maker, pots, pans, dishes. Everything was clean and well located.

The owners were a pleasure to work with and wanted to make sure we had a good experience. One incident is an excellent example of their concern. On the first Wednesday afternoon we discovered that there was no hot water. With three granddaughters going to prepare for a dance recital on Thursday, Friday and Saturday; this could have been a major problem. I called the owners and they got someone there by 5 PM Wednesday to determine the problem and the situation was corrected by 10:30 AM on Thursday.

The deck is a great place to observe the boat traffic and happenings along the beach. When the tide is out it is easy to walk the 100 yards to a sandy beach, or you can walk there by the street.

There is a lot to do in the area for families such as movies and a trip to Mystic to the Aquarium and Seaport Village.

My wife and I had a great stay and our granddaughters had a wonderful time.
One suggestion for those not from the area (as we were). Only the locals can figure out the street system. To make life easier (it was a time saver for us) use a GPS to navigate around.
