We stayed a week in Punta Cana. Stanza Mara was absolutely wonderful. Located right on the beach, new, clean condo with everything that you need for vacation. I would recommend to get food at the market, as there is not that many grocery stores around. Breakfast on the balcony with ocean view - was really great and relaxing.

Perfectas vacaciones en Punta Cana. El apartamento precioso, con una vistas directas a la playa y al mar preciosas. EL apartamento refleja fielmente lo que muestra con lo que nos encontramos. Limpio, acogedor, amplio, bien equipado y bien decorado. Habiamos estado otras veces en punta cana y siempre teniamos problemas con el wifi, en este apartamento la wifi que era propia perfecta, sin ningun problema. Otros apartamentos nos indicaban cerca de la playa y luego eran 5 minutos caminando, este realmente estaba delante. La arena de la playa entra dentro del condominio. La piscina, amplia, limpia y bien cuidada.En todo momento nos sentimos comodos y seguros. Teniamos cerca supermercado, restaurantes,farmacia etc. Alquilamos coche y el apartamento disponia de plaza de parking propia. Seguro que volveremos.

Notre séjour a été parfait. Les chambres sont très charmantes, la conexion wifi sans problème, et généralement toutes les installations parfaites. L'appartement est très charmant et la piscine aussi: les enfants passaient toute la journée a l'eau.
De mÊme, il est dans une zone très calme et agréable, devant la plage, qui est impressionante, et à côté de quelques bars.

MAgnifica estancia en Punta Cana. Salimos pitando de españa casi nevando y llegamos y lo primero que hicimos es darnos un baño en unas agua cristalinas con arena blanca. Magnifico el emplazamiento y el lugar. Nos hizo un tiempo buenisimo toda la semana, solo llovio por una hora el jueves por la noche. El apartamento amplio, limpio y con unas vistas directas a la playa preciosas. Bien amueblado y equipado, el internet sin problemas. Alquilamos un coche y teniamos parking sin problemas. La seguridad muy buena con especial mencion al guarda de seguridad que vigila la playa.

What a perfect place to enjoy and relax

We have been at this condo for two weeks and only have to say what a marvellous place.
The apartment was clean and fits exactly the description. It's well maintained and everything was working properly.
The views from the terrace and impressive and relaxing.
The condo itseld is beatiful and well maintained. There is an impressive pool with a restaurant for casual lunch and some drinks. Athough in high season the condo was not so crowed as expected. The beach is one of the best beaches in al DR. Stanza Mare has its own private area with enough sunbeds. Carlos, the security guy, is always eager to help and is an invaluable resource.
There are some good restaurants in the beach five minutes walking like Soles, Hurrican Cafe.
Within walking distance, five minutes, you have some commerces, pharmacy and the best capucchino in the area. For some more buying consider going to Plaza Melia or San Juan.
If you look for a perfect relaxing time, no need for a car and enjoy the beach there is no better place.
We are already planning for next year hopefully the whole month.

We are a 4 ppl Family and sometime its hard to find a good hotel room for us. I always look for a private apto and Stanza Mare was great!
The unit was clean and is exactly as showed on pics.
Linda received us late at night ( arrived at 23h00)!!
There is a good bar/ restaurant at pool and if u dont want to get out u can have your meal there. There is no laundry at unit but u can wash ur clothes at common area
For breakfast u can go to markets near the condo.Shopping Palma is near too.
Beach is gorgeous!!!

Great escape.

I should preface this review with my demo. My friends are I are grad students, around age 28, and wanted to go somewhere to explore and relax in a place a bit off the beaten path. For that, the Dominican Republic was awesome. We wanted to explore local culture with a mix of beach relaxation as opposed to pure relaxation. If you want to just eat, sleep, and drink, do the all-inclusive thing. As thats probably what 85% of people in Punta Cana and Bavaro do.
The rental company that manages the property was very good to work with and they met us at the resort (they are not onsite, but located a few blocks away) when we arrived. We drove from Santo Domingo which was a harrowing 3-4 our drive that I do not recommend unless you like adventure. I definitely needed a cocktail upon arrival.
The condo itself was great. It had a fantastic view of the pool and the beach and it was just a short walk to a great beach with lounge chairs, cabanas, and palm frond umbrellas that all belong to the complex. Theres also a security guard on the beach who was super nice and keeps an eye on everything. I give my review 4 stars for 2 main reasons. The first was that after the rental rep did a walkthrough of the place and counted all of the towels, furniture, and utensils, she left and we realized shortly after that we didnt have hot water. It wasnt until the next day that the front desk was able to help us turn it back on. The second thing was the little things I wish had been slightly better. This includes better water pressure, a bathroom fan, a colder refrigerator, lack of a dishwasher, and the mix match of glass and silverware. However, these are all first world problems, and like I said, if these are super important to you, go all-inclusive (or go to Hawaii). It was an amazing trip and an amazing place.
