We are convinced that this flat is in the best location in all of Florence! My daughter has stayed near the Duomo in the past but she enjoyed this location and this flat much more. The San Niccolo neighborhood is both charming and incredibly close to the heart of the city -- only a few blocks and you’re there! All the main sights are within reasonable walking distance. You are close enough to fully enjoy the city center, but far enough that at the end of a long day of exploring you can look forward to relaxing in this cozy flat.

The flat is indeed furnished with everything you need, and is the perfect size for two people to live very comfortably. It is clean, cozy, bright, and airy. The kitchen is an incredible asset and very spacious. Between the oven, microwave, and stove we were able to cook anything we wanted. The patio was perfect for enjoying the breeze with a glass of local wine. WiFi access in the apartment was perfect for keeping in touch without having to find a public access point or internet cafe.

Luca and Maddalena are so lovely and helped to make our mother-daughter trip to Florence unforgettable. The security of knowing that the owners are right next door was very comforting. They are friendly, helpful, thoughtful, and always available for any questions.

We cannot wait to return to this beautiful flat in the future!

We are very enthousiastic about this appartement. A perfect place to just relax a little bit after a long and exhausting but beautiful and enjoyable day in florence. The appartement is very clean and cool. Really everything you need is there: towels, airconditioning, bed sheets and everything for the kitchen. The owners are really nice, friendly and helpfull and if there is anything wrong you can just ask them.
We recommand this appartement to everyone because we really enjoyed our stay.

A friend and I were traveling through Italy for a few weeks and this flat was by far our favorite. Luca and Madelena were very friendly and helpful. The pictures are a good representation of the apartment. It was nice to have a patio to have lunch or drinks at the end of the day. One of the best things about the flat is the restaurant 30 feet from the front door. We ate there 4 times. It was fabulous and reasonable. However if you feel more adventurous than we did, walking anywhere in Florence is easy. Be sure to walk one block over to the river and catch the sunset. I would stay here again without hesitation. On our trip we rented apartments in several cities. This one was by far the best accomodation we stayed in.

The flat exceeded all expectations. It is in an excellent location. It is just far enough from the nucleus of the historic district to be relatively uncrowded; it is near enough to be within a few minutes walk of anywhere you want to go. There are good local trattorias-- patrons are mostly local-- and good grocery stores in the neighborhood.

The flat is roomy, airy, comfortable and clean. Kitchen is provided with more than adequate utensils and cookware. Good stove, oven and microwave. Even the art on the walls is lovely-- items collected by the owners, one of whom works at a local art school.

The owners, Luca and Maddalena, are among the best parts of the rental experience. They were delightful to meet, very helpful, and extremely polite, without being solicitous. They live next door, and they made it clear that they would be available to help if we needed anything.

We would recommend this apartment to any friend who is travelling in Florence, and we hope to return there someday ourselves.
