My husband and I rented this apartment for six nights in September. It was exactly as described. It was clean and spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We loved the shower and the double sink in the bathroom. The towels were downright plush. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to have breakfast every morning and to prepare dinner at the apartment two or three nights. The washer and dryer were efficient and definitely came in handy. Many handy amenities were already provided: bar soap, tissues, dish detergent, laundry detergent, etc. The view of the canals from the livingroom was so special that we rearranged the furniture so that we could eat overlooking the Amstel.

The location is ideal. We walked everywhere, the museums, the red light district, Anne Frank house, even the train station. There were a supermarket and a liquor store very close. There was a huge variety of restaurants literally within steps of the apartment. A bit farther, but still an easy walk, was a wonderful seafood restaurant, Lucius.

Although the weather was less than perfect during much of our stay, we were able to take advantage of the terrace one afternoon for drinks. It was remarkably private for such a lively neighborhood.

Unfortunately, Juan was unavailable at the time of our arrival, but he arranged for a colleague, Fermin, to meet us. He met us at the apartment exactly on time, and he stayed to show us around the apartment, how to use the appliances, etc. He even took the time to look over our map with us to orient us to Amsterdam, as it was our first visit. He warned us to be careful to avoid obstructing bicycle traffic, which turned out to be very good advice. Juan was extremely attentive to our questions before our arrival, providing us very detailed information, and he even emailed us during our stay to make sure all was well.

Not only would we recommend this apartment to others, but we look forward to returning to Amsterdam and this apartment.

We stayed for thirteen days and were able to live like locals. As an "export" born in the Jordaan area of Amsterdam I can qualify this apartment as everything it's advertised to be and more. Panoramic top floor views of the Amstel and a rooftop terrace overlooking the surrounding sights. Great kitchen and a shower with abundant water pressure. A wonderful location to explore Amsterdam.

From the start Juan and the owner have been nothing but friendly, attentive, and personable. Juan was waiting for our arrival for our 6 night stay in the morning and showed us to the apartment. We absolutely loved the location and the beautiful apartment. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the recommendations for dinner they had for us and The place is spacious and would be plenty big for 4 people. We were thankful for and used the bathtub every night! I would definitely recommended this place to anyone and everyone. We also enjoyed the terrace and were lucky enough to see a double (2) rainbow after a rain. We were traveling to Paris from Amsterdam and unfortunately encountered a strike and would not be able to,leave for a day. My husband and I started to panic but I emailed Juan and he immediately responded back informing us he would be happy to let us stay for another night (luckily the next guest wasn't arriving for a day) and I know even if so they would not have left us stranded and would have helped us found a place, anyways they also worked out an amazing deal and we owe them and are thankful for their generosity. You will not regret your decision to stay at this beautiful apartment that is walking or a quick bike ride away to everything!

Fantastic apartment. We stayed for two weeks and loved every minute. Juan welcomed us very early in the morning and stored our luggage until check in. Wonderful views: modern fixtures: spotlessly clean: fantastic location. Will be our first choice every time we visit Amsterdam.

Really enjoyed our stay at this property and Juan's help on our arrival. The apartment was exactly as advertised and the location was even better than we expected. Would stay here again and can't imagine staying anywhere else in Amsterdam.

Great facility - good heating system and showers, which you can't take for granted in Europe.

O apartamento é examente como mostram as fotos. Muito espaçoso, limpo, roupas de cama e banho na quantidade necessária para nossa estadia e limpos. Excelente localização, perto de tudo!!! As pessoas que nos receberam foram muito hospitaleiros e simpáticos nos esclarecendo tudo sobre o apartamento. Certamente em uma próxima viagem a Amsterdam ficarei hospedado nesse mesmo local.
