This property exceeded our expectations and we didn't want to leave! From watching the surfers in the morning to soaking in beautiful sunsets in the evening to afternoon dips in the pool, we loved everything about this condo. The trail down to the beach was convenient and provided a different perspective of the spectacular Southern California coastline. The hiking trails on the other side of the property paved a path to the Dana Point harbor, with whale watching opportunities along the route. The interior of the condo was well appointed and furnished with everything neseccary to cook a gourmet meal for our family, which we did often in order to soak in more of that fantastic view. We will most certainly be back!

First trip to Dana Point, CA. Family vacation and we soon realized this oceanfront location has the best view on the coast. We never wanted to leave the view. Dinners on the deck at sunset were better than any restaurant. We were greeted at the condo and agent was extremely helpful and professional in servicing our every need and question. Enjoy the nearby nature preserve trails, and beach walks. This place was simply amazing! If you are looking for a quiet area, with specatular views, no resort has a view like this location! Lots of area restaurants to enjoy. If you make the short trip to Laguna, try Kaya's. TIP, catch the free shuttle to Laguna during arts festival and enjoy!

Loved our stay at Dana Headlands

We enjoyed our stay at the Dana Headlands Luxury Oceanfront Rental. The name says it all, it is quite luxurious and has a front row view of the ocean. We spent most of our time out on the big deck sun bathing, swimming in the pool, grilling steaks, and watching the ocean waves. We even got to see three dolphins swimming near shore for a few hours with out even leaving our deck! It is a pretty walk right onto the beach so you don't have to worry about driving and parking. They had boogie boards, chairs and a big umberella to stick in the sand for fun at the beach. It is also really close to the harbor where we did shopping and a whale watching excursion. The condo was really clean and had plenty of storage space for our bags. The kitchen had all dinnerware and utinsils so we were able to cook our own food if we wanted. All the appliances worked great and they even have a washer and dryer. At night, our favorite activity was to watch the sunset out on the deck, then come inside to light a fire, curl up on the big couch and watch a movie on the big tv. They even had books, movies and games there in the condo for us. This place would be great for a romantic getaway or fun for the whole family. We loved

Fantastic vacation!

I spent a weekend here with my husband and adult son and we had a wonderful time. The views are to die for! We spent hours and hours on the deck. It is wonderful anytime of day! We loved the pool and BBQ and walked the gorgeous beach and nearby trails. Lots of great restaurants and activities nearby. Visited the Ocean Institute, took a cruise with them. Went on a scuba diving charter with my son. We have rented a number of "vacation rentals" and this one is tops! Well appointed and spotlessly clean. We will definitely stay here again!

I had the opportunity to spend a weeks vacation with my family at the Dana Headlands Oceanfront rental property in Dana Point California in May of 2012. Our overall experience was excellent. The view and surrounding property were in excellent condition. The property and the rental unit was everything that the description said it was and more. The view was breathtaking and the beach was clean and well-maintained. The pictures didn't do the view and the rental property justice. It was much more beautiful and peaceful than we had imagined. The people in the surrounding units were friendly and helpful. We were able to rent snorkeling, surfing and other equipment at local businesses nearby. The restaurants in the surrounding areas were excellent. However, we really enjoyed using the available grill on the property to cookout and enjoy the pool. The local food stores were excellent and had a variety of excellent foods and other supplies. The owners were very helpful in answering all of our questions. This was actually our third time being on vacation at this location and we have enjoyed it more every time we visited. We would highly recommend taking your next vacation or any special ocassion at this amazingly beautifully maintained property. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning soon. The rental unit was also pet friendly which was a plus.

It's a dreary day here and my husband and I find ourselves reminiscing about our time in Dana Point last March. Imagine being high on a hill overlooking the ocean and having a full view of Strand Beach--it's yours at this glorious rental property. The unit itself is spotless, extremely well appointed, newly furnished, and very comfortable with its gas fireplace which we used every evening. The pool and the adjacent large deck made a great place for our children and grandchildren who were staying nearby to come and eat, swim and play. Carla, whose middle name could be "Service" even had the temperature of the pool turned up so the children would enjoy the pool more and longer. We've stayed in Dana Point before, and this was by far our best rental experience. Can't conclude without mentioning the step-out-the-door walks. We walked the beach daily and usually walked the Headlands as well. Don't miss this place.

What a great trip! When i saw pictures of this place i thought it was too good to be true...it still might be because i could have been dreaming when i think back on how wonderful our stay was here. The condo was very clean and cozy. It was among the top places i've stayed throughout the world in all of my travels. The weather was perfect. The beach is very close and very family friendly. Great shopping and great restaurants all around. Already planning our return!

We found our family's perfect vacation home. This beach condo is upgraded, tastefully appointed with all the right amenities and has the comforts of home. The huge deck is the perfect place to relax, go for a swim in the pool, have a barbeque, eat with your family, or enjoy the panoramic views of the beach, coast line, surfers, ocean, sunset, Catalina Island, and frequent sightings of dolphins and whales. A quick walk has you on one of the best beaches in CA. Great walking and running routes are right outside your door. There are several very good dining options close by if you don't feel like cooking a meal. With everything this beach condo offers (amenities, view, beach, location), it will be our family's first choice for every trip we make to Orange County!

Great Place for Family Vacation or Romantic Get-away

This property sits right on Dana Point with the best view imaginable overlooking the coast to the north and Catalina island out to sea.
This was the perfect place to spend fall break with the family. It was a short drive to amusement parks in San Diego and Disneyland and Knotts. The kids absolutely loved having a swimming pool on the property and taking walks on the nature preserve trails around the property. It takes 5 or 10 minutes to make the descent down to the beach. Even in mid-October the beach was great for swimming, boogie boarding, and surfing.
My favorite part about staying at this property was enjoying the sunsets from the spacious deck. Sunsets here rival best sunsets I've seen anywhere (Borneo, Hawaii, Arizona desert.)
Make sure to explore the attractions at the Dana Point Harbor (whale watching tours, boat rentals, tide pools, aquarium.) Don't miss Beach Cities Pizza...the Special Combination is the best, but try the Doheny if you are looking for something different.

I love going to the beach condo. It has the best view of the ocean and it's about a five minute walk to the beautiful beach. The inside of the condo is extremely nice and calming. The new carpet and paint is very soothing and pretty. It has really nice flat screen televisions and a brand new couch in the family room. The kitchen is very nice and I love the dark tile which goes very well with the wall colors. It's always very clean and it smells so good. I just love staying in this condo and I always miss it when I'm gone. It really is a great place.
