We recently completed a four night stay at the Zigzag cottage. I initially was a little skeptical because of the wide angle lens shots of all the spaces. We decided to give it a go after talking with the owner. The cottage was clean and the pictures accurately show all the spaces and decor. All advertised amenities were provided. Unit property type was said to be cottage, it is the private end of a three unit townhome with two private decks. There were plenty of places to sit and wonderful TV’s and electronics. We did not use the fireplaces, but there was one inside and one on the main deck. Had a nice meal cooked on the gas grill. The pool was closed the three days we were there. But was nice and we think gearng up for summer months.
The location was perfect for us, right near the road to Ramona falls hike. This hike is a must. We were treated with two sunny 70 degree days. The second day we hiked to Tamanaswas Falls on the North side of Mount Hood, another must see, along with Timberline lodge and Trillium lake.
Great dinning nearby was the Rendezvous Grill in Welches, we went there twice. The food/chef and the service were fantastic. Great little food store and wine shop in Zigzag
I would stay here again and suggest it to others.
