An alternative to a bed and breakfast where you have the entire home to yourself! Enjoy some quiet, country elegance for a romantic getaway or a gathering in a unique, memorable, and comfortable setting.
The 1910 Somers House is a beautifully restored, century old farmhouse nestled on six acres in the heart of the Swan Creek Vineyards, Amish and general stores, and scenic country landscapes.
The first floor features 10’ ceilings throughout, unique chandeliers, heartwood pine from floor to ceiling, an incredible front to back foyer, an oversized en suite bedroom, a large gathering/dining room, a great room with a full wall stone fireplace, and an eat-in country kitchen with painted red cabinets. The second floor boasts a lovely conversation area great for enjoying a glass of wine overlooking the vast shaded front yard through a wall of windows. There is a 2-room king suite and a third bedroom on the second floor both featuring large claw foot tubs, hardwood floors, exposed brick, French doors, and more.
Our front porch is always 10 degrees cooler in the summer, and our large back porch is wonderful for eating and entertaining. The home reflects a sense of both Americana and country elegance and offers our guests a unique and memorable experience.
The house sleeps up to 12 guests and is a great venue for a weekend getaway, family reunion, local wedding, wine tastings, or other special event.
