Another Wonderful Stay!

This was the second time we stayed at this property in the past few months and we love it! The rooms are spacious but the home still has a "cozy" feel. We have two children under the age of 4 and this home was built with kids in mind. Our oldest loves the built-in bunks and we love the large rec room for them to play! The home has exceptional finishings including the Meile coffee maker, amazing views, it is close to the village and it is always spotless upon our arrival. Aleks and Mike were always available to answer any questions we had about the property and the resort. We have stayed at other rentals at Kicking Horse and this is by far our favorite!

A weekend away with the ladies

I would recommend this beautiful home without any hesitation. There were 13 of us ladies for the weekend and this home accommodated us perfectly. It is completely equipped with anything you may need. The Miele espresso was a fantastic treat, and made the spectacular view from the deck, that much better. Whether you are looking to spend some time in the mountains to hike, or just to relax in the hot tub with a Caesar, this place is perfect!

Fabulous family weekend

What an amazing place. We had 10 adult family members stay here for a ski weekend. The place is immaculate, very spacious (even with 10 of us we never felt crammed), furnishings are new and high end. The hot tub was fantastic. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We didn't want to leave. The location is great as well. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway. Thanks for having us Aleks!

Awesome accommodation!

We had a family ski weekend (12 people - 8 adults and 4 children from 1 1/2 - 7 years old) and enjoyed our stay in this home very much. We did our own cooking and the facilities here were amazing - everything described in the listing and more. The owner met us on arrival and answered all of our questions and gave us some great information. Hot tub was a big hit. We would definitely rent this property again and would recommend it to anyone going to Kicking Horse. We had a wonderful weekend!!

Great Vacation House!

My group of 10 just returned from a week's stay in this lovely house. There was tons of space as all the rooms are quite large with an additional huge media room downstairs. It is very well equipped with lots of plates, pots, pans, towels and 4 bathrooms, all with showers. We were all impressed with the built-in espresso maker and it got a good work out every morning! There was lots of every thing you need, but never think about...tupperware, gear drying racks in the garage, mixing bowls, road salt, etc. A real home away from home.
Ski-in/out was a mere 2 doors away, making it very easy to return for lunch and then get back out.
Aleks was great hostess, giving us a tour of the place and explaining how everything worked.
Our group has stayed in VRBO places before, including Kicking Horse last season, and have always been pretty happy, but this tops them all!

Even better than the pictures!

We travelled to Golden with a group of 10 friends and this was the perfect place to stay! We have rented several houses on the hill in Golden and this far surpases the others! This house feels like it was designed with every need in mind!
We LOVED the decor and furniture; contemporary with mountain comfort! Also, beautiful appliances in the kitchen, great washer/dryer in mud room for drying out mitts, socks, etc after a long day on the hill. The Meile espresso/latte/cappacino maker was also a big hit! Perfect way to start a ski day. And the hot tub; perfect way to end the day!
Also WONDERFUL storage. With a large group, there was enough fridge space to accomodate food and we loved the beer/wine fridge. Full bathrooms on each floor for an apres ski shower. Tons of storage for gear in the heated garage.
The house was immaculate and clean. With the great decor, appliances, bathrooms, everyone had a very comforatble stay.
Also, it was just a few steps from the ski-in/out and a short walk from FANTASTIC restaurants and pubs.
No more vrbo searching for places to stay in Golden, we will return to this house for sure!

Beyond Expectation

Our family spent the most wonderful week at this home. The location is amazing with beautiful views from every window! Access to both cross country skiing and downhill is very convenient. The house is immaculate, with very tasteful decor and furnishings. There is plenty of room for two families if required with a wonderful play area for children. The hot tub was lovely after a day enjoying the snow. The owners are extremely hospitable and very helpful. The reservation booking, arrangements and payments were handled in a very professional manner.
The entire experience, from pre booking through to actual stay was truly beyond our expectations. We will most definitely return!

Great for a gathering of Families

What an amazing place to stay. Each winter, we get together with family and stay at different ski hills in BC in a variety of rental accommodations. This was, by far, the best one yet! With 13 of us, we still felt like we had more than enough room. Generous closet & storage space meant that we weren't tripping over suitcases in each room. Alex is a fabulous host and made sure that we knew everything there was to know. She also took the time to answer all my questions prior to the trip in a timely manner.
The photos & description are completely accurate and the skiing was fabulous. Luxurious, spacious, and amazing...we hope to stay there again.

New Years getaway

We came out from Saskatchewan to spend 5 nights over new years and had an amazing time. We had 11 in our group, most of which were snowmobilers and the rest spent thier time on the ski hill. The setup of this beatiful home was more than well equipped to meet our needs. There was plenty of space to avoid feeling crowded or cramped. The hot tub is amazing and really saved our bodies after a stellar day of riding and skiing/snowboarding. The owners were more than happy to answer any questions or concerns. I would highly recomend this property to anyone looking to spend some time in the mountains for any winter activity. Overall i just can't say enough about how nice the property is and how easy it was to enjoy ourselves.
