The apartment was exactly as described. The location is unbeatable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely use this location again.

The apartment is perfect! Much bigger than photos can show, clean and confortable. Kim was very nice helping me when I needed. She also got me a fall deal to park the car for a few days, what helped a lot!
The entrance is a bit difficult when you have luggage, but nothing impossible to deal with. There was a lamp installed close to the door but the light still a bit dim.
The neighborhood is nice and calm. The metro station is close enough and there is a Safeway, a CVS store, many restaurants and bars nearby. I would recomend Raku, they have fresh asian food for a good price.
I will definetly stay there again next year!!!

The property was spotless and as described and the neighborhood was quiet and clean. The metro was 2 blocks away and there are a number of good restaurants and shoppes within a short walk. It was a tad warm, but D.C. is having a hot summer. The owner was helpful and prompt with an AC issue. We would use this property again! It was a nice place for my family to relax in at the end of event filled days.

And, most importantly, on behalf of my family I would like to thank you for everything. My family had a great time in DC and enjoyed the apartment very much. I will write a review on-line soon, but I wanted to let you know that finding your apartment solved many concerns we had about their visit to the States for my marriage. So, you have helped us very much. If they come by again and we are still in the area, be sure we will contact you.

We stayed four nights in May and found the apartment exactly as described and pictured. It was scrupulously clean and well maintained and we were very pleased with the location which is a pleasant short walk to Dupont Circle Metro and nearby shops and restaurants. The apartment is spacious, tastefully furnished and the washer/dryer a great asset for any traveller. We arrived after dark and negotiating the few precarious steps down to the front door would have been very difficult without our travel torch and it would also have been almost impossible to see the key-holder and put in the combination. Could we suggest ensuring the front light is left on if guests are arrving after dark? We did also find the bed incredibly hard and were disturbed late at night by the heavy footsteps from upstairs which seemed to start around 10.30 to 11.00pm and go on sometimes until after 12am. It would also have been appreciated to have had some communication from the owner to ensure our arrival was satisfactory. Overall we would definitely recommend the apartment despite these very minor quibbles.

We had a wonderful vacation while in DC and this apartment was just right...a home away from home. This is my second time using HomeAway and I would do it again in a heartbeat. So much better than staying in a hotel. Thank you, Kim. You were very easy to work with and communicate with when needed. The apartment was an easy walk to the Metro and a great neighborhood to just walk around and enjoy ourselves. The only thing I would add is a few plastic or silicone cooking utensils to the kitchen. I felt bad using a fork to scramble eggs in your non-stick pans! Other than that - perfect!! Thank you again.

The property description was accurate in terms of location, size, and amenities. It was an easy walk to the White House. We walked to the Capitol, however, that was a bit of a stretch. The Dupont Circle metro stop was very near the property; from there, most tourist sights were easily accessible.

The apartment was clean and attractive. The kitchen had a full size stove, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. There was a washer/dryer combo as well. In addition, the kitchen was equipped with dishes, wine glasses, silverware and cooking utensils. There were three of us and the apartment comfortably accommodated us.

Although located in the basement, the apartment was light-filled; however, one must be warned that the steps leading to it were steep and narrow. In addition, although wi-fi was available the first two days of our stay, we were somehow unable to connect on the third night (our last night) of our stay. We were "timed-out" for some reason.

I would recommend this property to someone visiting DC provided one can manage steep stairs. There were plenty of good restaurants nearby and the location was very safe.
