Perfect vacation!

This was our first trip to Exuma and the villa we stayed in was perfect. The listing description was accurate and it had all the amenities we needed and more! The property was so clean and well maintained. The owner was very quick in responding to any questions we had. We definitely recommend this property to others.
We did numerous activities during our week long stay. We did the full day excursion (Swimming Pigs, Iguana Island, Sandbar, Cave exploration, among others), swam in numerous beautiful beaches (Tropic of Cancer and Jolly Hall Beach, among others), diving, snorkeling, spearfishing, and more.
The location of the villa was very close to many restaurants. There were several fine-dine restaurants within walking distances, but our favorite was the Fish Fry. We walked over there almost every day. The Fish Fry is a location where the locals seem to eat at most. It consists of a variety of different vendors and we tried a different vendor each time. The food was excellent and you get a lot for your buck. We also enjoyed great coming (whether talking to the residents or other tourists). We will definitely be back!

Relaxing vacation getaway

Amenity wise, this villa has everything you need and more. There's lots of beautiful white sand beach to explore right outside and the water is the clearest blue I've seen in all my life. For some reason there is even a extra pool right outside your door when you are just a few feet from the amazing beach?
The place also has several food choices, a local spot 2 min walk, the town is close by and Chat-n-chill is a short boat ride away. Locals and tourists on the island are so friendly its crazy. You can talk to anyone all day and make new friends or just grab a bottle of rum and lay under a palm tree on the beach all day and night.
But for me, the most important thing is that I am a total germaphobe and need everything to be CLEAN. If you are like me, and demand CLEAN everything, you will be happy with this place. Honestly though, you won't spend too much time indoors anyways!

This cozy villa we rented were not luxurious but it met our need for a relaxing vacation in The Bahamas. This unit is very comfortably furnished.
Everyday we take our walks along the pristine sandy beach and swim in the most beautiful blue water!! Getting food and having drinks with the bahamians at the nearby fish fry is such a wonderful local experience. Trying out a Conch salad is a must! You have to watch how it's made!!
The island Bahamians are really warm and friendly... transportation is rather dear on the island and where we are staying is so convenient that we can hitch hike on the main road into town and back by giving them just our big, wide friendly smiles!!
The excursions we took to swim with the pigs, nurse sharks and mantle-rays; feed the pink iguanas were one of the most memorable experiences in my life
I will definitely go back to Exuma to see my Bahamian friends again!!

Exuma after Sandy.

Well, we managed to make it to the island 2 days after Sandy hit. Kingsley had someone waiting for us at the airport. When we arrived at the Vila, we found everything to be just perfect. The Vila is spacious, clean and in the perfect location. Angie. Thank you for sharing you little price of paradise with us. It was our 3rd time to Exuma and will most certainly not be out last.

I stayed in Exuma for almost a month and rented this villa. The owner was wonderfully helpful, providing me with a lot of tips and insights for my stay there. She also has someone in Exuma who you can call if you need anything. In addition, she was very responsive to any issues I encountered and requests that I had. In fact during my stay, the air-conditioning, which was quite old, wasn't very cold and I raised this to her, and she decided to buy a brand new one!
There is also a nice restaurant in the hotel next to ours so I spent a lot of time there for meals. In addition, you are fairly near to Georgetown, and within walking distance to the Fish Fry, which is a gathering of low-key cafes and bars frequented by the locals, who were really friendly.
I had a great time, and Exuma is just fantastic anyway!
