Fantastic getaway!

We just returned from our trip in El Salvador.
We couldn't have been happier. The house looks just as great as the photos in the listing.
The house was in great shape and looked absolutely perfect. Not to mention the owner calling us daily to make sure that everything was going as expected. I would highly recommend this house. Plus the location is outstanding. The coast is incredibly beautiful, and the local restaurants have incredibly fresh sea food. But make sure to have a few meals cooked perfectly by the house's cook.
They also will arrange for a local driver to show you around the local sites. We had him take us to some really local restaurants for lunch an dinner. Or you can simply walk to a great restaurant right around the corner.
In summary, this is a great house in a beautiful and peaceful location.

Wonderful Stay with our Family

We stayed at this lovely villa for a week in February. It was everything we had hoped for -- and then some. We loved the hammock area, home theatre, pool, birds in the Atrium, outdoor kitchen by the pool, great breakfasts and snacks throughout the lazy days. The beach was glorious. Warm water, soft sand, totally clean and amazing waves for boogey-boarding and we just about had it to ourselves. It's a great place to visit if you're looking to unwind.
Mercie, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful or hospitable. She made sure everything was perfect for us. She knows the country so well, pretty much anything you want to do or anywhere you want to go, she'll make it happen.
My husband is already talking about going back.

Two Weeks in Paradise

Absolutely incredible! Having had the opportunity to travel to Europe, The Caribbean, Hawaii and the Mexican Rivera, this vacation is one that we will fondly remember as one of the best.
From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were greeted by the owner's staff and had a pleasant drive to the resort. Along the way the driver pointed out places of interest that we may want to visit.
The amenities were first class. The Villa was magnificent! Clean, elegant, with incredible vistas. We had a concern if there would be enough activities for our four children. They spent everyday in the Pool, after which they could play Table Tennis, play games, watch movies, or stroll down to the Black Sand Beach! The beach was private and beautiful the black sand reminded us of Hawaii, but without the crowds. It was private and fun. The kids loved the warm water and actually spent more time at the beach then anywhere else we have traveled.
The staff was always at our beck and call. Preparing great food, terrific fresh juices and wonderful, pampering service. Every day started with a good morning greeting, fresh coffee and juices and our choices of food for the day. The driver took us on excursions. We went to a Volcano and enjoyed the local shopping areas where we picked up wonderful mementos and souvenirs!
Walking distance was a fantastic Restaurant called Betos which had great lobster and crab and delicious pizzas for the kids. They also enjoyed the virgin daiquiris in Watermelon, Lime, Coconut, Strawberry, they tried them all. The prices were a fraction paid anywhere else, so we visited Beto's several times.
After dinner, back to the Villa for a night swim and then a great movie in the 100 Inch Screening Room. It really was much more that we had prepared for or had expected. Our only complaint was that time passed to quickly. Before arrival we wondered if we would have enough activities for two weeks, in the end, we wanted to stay another week. Sometimes just reading a book on the hammocks and looking out at the bay was enriching in itself.
Our eldest daughter would like to return with her girlfriends for her 18th Birthday and Graduation. After meeting the staff and becoming close to them, we know our daughter and her friends would be in good company.
We would highly recommend this Villa and Resort to anyone accustomed to First Class travel, with sumptuous amenities and wonderful people. We will definitely return.
