Fabulous Memorial Day Weekend

Ron,
Thank you for an amazing weekend. The apartment was terrific, the backyard space with grill, fire pit and landscaping was just incredible. And whatever you did to pay off the gods for the incredible weather was much appreciated. Our only complaint--a big one--was that Yankee mug in the cupboard. Don't know how that slipped in there. ;-) We'll overlook that given how nice everything else was--including the fresh lettuce out of your yard--awesome!!!

I have never reviewed anything before but had to this time as this VRBO is fabulous as is Ron, the owner. The rental has all amenities and more, right down to the glow in the dark marshmallow roasting sticks that Ron thoughtfully provided for our kids. The gas fire pit was a hit as was the neighbor's trampoline. The inside was perfect for a family with two young children. The neighborhood is lovely and a perfect distance by bus or car from all of the Seattle attractions. Thank you, Ron for setting the bar high on vacation rentals!

Home Away From Home

We came for a month to visit and babysit our first grandchild and were very lucky to find this delightful home away from home. It was very clean, comfortable and well decorated, and the kitchen was well equipped. Very nice. I recommend highly! We often grilled on the brand new Weber grill on the patio after walking to the grocery a few blocks away. We brought a car, but really we were walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. A small wine shop and the Sand Point Grill were a block away as well as a great little shop to buy sandwiches and fresh baked bread. We will be back! Ron was helpful and a wonderful host, arranging for some gorgeous spring weather during our stay. We brought our bikes and enjoyed riding on the nearby rail trail which runs around the lake.

Charming rental very close to University of Washington. Seattle Center was also just a couple exits away.
The beds in this lower level apartment were so comfortable and it had everything you would need for a trip away from home e.g. cable tv, blu-ray, washer/dryer, etc. Unit is very private and our host, Ron, is the nicest guy in the world. Wish we had more downtime to enjoy the back patio. Will definitely come back to stay!!!

The Pullman House was a wonderful stay for my husband who needed job-related temporary housing. And when the kids and I joined him we were very comfortable. Loved having the washer/dryer. Very comfortable beds with high-quality linens. Excellent location for accessing the University District and I-5. Ron is a great host! We are coming back!!

Stayed in July, returned in October

A friend and I spent 5 nights in the Pullman house in July. When I returned for 4 nights in October, it almost felt like "coming home. ". It's a very comfortable, cozy place to stay - so much so that, during my second stay, I found it difficult to get going in the morning. The beds are really comfortable! The photos on the VRBO website accurately picture the apartment. Guests park their cars in a carport and walk down 2 flights of stairs to get to the apartment

It's a great place to stay for those visiting friends or family in the area. It worked fine, too, for visiting the sites of Seattle. During my 2 stays, we only went downtown once & getting there wasn't a problem. It wasn't difficult to get to places like the zoo, Ballard & Green Lake. After driving in the busier areas of Seattle, it was nice to get back to a quiet neighborhood with almost no traffic. I really enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and spending some time in nearby Magnuson Park.

Although it was expensive, I enjoyed shopping for food and "take out" at Metro Market, which is about ½ mile away from the Pullman House. It was also a short drive to pick up yummy pizza at Pagliacci Pizza. We enjoyed a good meal one night at the nearby Sand Point Grill.

My husband and I rented this property along with our son and daughter-in-law and granddaughter,
age 2. We were visiting our other son who lived near by in the University District.
The premises and set up were perfect, accomodating, well stocked, very neat and comfortable and the owner was very helpful and accomodating. OUr experience was wonderful all in all. I would definitely rent this property again, no question!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Pullman House. The apartment has the new home smell, and just walking in was a pleasure, after a long day of traveling. The view is really pretty looking outside, with the woods, and the mountains and lake peeking through. Having a parking spot was a real plus, as was being near the U and downtown, with a bus stop across the street as well. The owner's suggestions of where to dine were a real help. The beds were extremely comfy, and there were nice extras like breakfast supplies, coffee, and toiletries. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the Seattle area. Hopefully I will return soon!

My family stayed at the Pulman suite for 2 weeks this summer while my wife attended courses at the University. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of accommodation. The suite was large enough to accommodate our family of 4 (5 year old and newborn baby) comfortably. It is finished with top quality appliances, fittings and furniture. The setting is gorgeous with the Burke-Gilman walking trail easily accessible. This is a great, central location. 5 minutes to the U by car, and 15 to the center of town to enjoy all the attractions that Seattle has to offer. I was also very impressed by how warm, friendly and helpful the owner Ron was. Always available to answer questions, offer travel directions or just for a chat. He appeared at the door one evening with a huge handful of delicious fresh vegetables out of his garden, and he was kind enough to hook us up with some of the best steaks I've eaten in my life. We are already booked for next Summer! I absolutely recommend this accommodation, we travel the world and this was easily one of our most pleasant experiences. 5+ STARS!!

We rented this vrbo in Seattle along with my parents for UW graduation weekend and stayed Thurs - Mon. in June, 2012. Two nice-sized bedrooms perfect sized for two couples or a family of four. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need. Loved the comfy living room to relax in. Absolutely beautiful accommodations, exceptionally clean, whole condo has been newly remodeled, very homey and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. Long flight of stairs to get down to the door, so not accessible to disabled. We loved the private patio out back with the beautiful woodsy backyard which is near the Burke Gillman trail. Fun little Sandpoint shops within a block or two away, as well as University Village shopping area which has fabulous restaurants & shops. We love "The Ram" restaurant. Great location close to UW, very nice quiet neighborhood, private parking under carport. Owner Ron met us upon arrival & was very accommodating & even offered us fresh lettuce from his garden! I don't want to tell you too much because we loved it so much, we want to keep it for ourselves when we come to town to visit my son again!
