Great Place!

We had a little family reunion here with 8 people. My parents took the master bedroom. My 17 year old cousin took the queen room. My 17 year old brother slept on the couch because he had a bad cold (and maybe because it's not cool for 17 year old guys to share a bed). And my husband, 5 year old, 3 year old, and me shared the bunk room. My kids were thrilled to sleep on the top bunks (which had nice guard rails for safety). I liked that there were blackout curtains for nap time. I also liked the standing, oscillating fan for some white noise when my kids were napping or went to bed early, & the rest of us wanted to be in the living room talking or enjoying a movie. The pool and hot tub were great. The hot tub fits about 17 people and was nice and hot. The nearest grocery store is only 2 miles away and the kitchen has everything you need to cook. We even used the crock pot one night. Thanks for providing things like dish soap, dishwasher soap, tp, paper towels, coffee, coffee filters, spices, etc. I've been to other condos/rental houses where you have to buy all of those, even if you're only there a few nights. Such a waste- especially if you're from a different state and can't take it all home! I also appreciated the extra amenities like hair dryer, bathroom scale, q-tips, hair straightener, shampoo, body wash, kleenex boxes in every room, etc. Nice touches! The summer rates are incredible! We slept 8 and had a kitchen, hot tub, and pool for as much as one hotel room normally costs! Thank you for keeping your rates reasonable. Even though it's affordable, the condo is updated, clean, not lacking amenities, and comfortable. Dillon was a great place to bring kids. There is a fabulous playground at the lake amphitheater (see my review & photos on kaboom.org). We also enjoyed doing kid-friendly hikes (Mayflower Gulch near Copper Mtn and Oro Grande overlooking Lake Dillon), going to outdoor church on Sunday morning at the lake amphitheater, riding the gondola up and doing one trip down Breckenridge's alpine slide (little kids on laps), and using the pool! Thanks, Troy and Jamie, for responding so quickly to questions via phone and e-mails, for the awesome instructions and maps you e-mail ahead of time, the detailed lists on your additional website, etc. P.S. If stairs are an issue for anyone, you can park in the lower lot and come in through the sliding glass door if someone in your party goes around to the stair-side and unlocks the condo for you.
