Our family had a wonderful time in Rome. The apartment looks just like the photos, it is clean and Chiara was very accommodating regarding our arrival time. The apartment is in a great location right across the street from one of Rome's best restaurants. We walked and used the metro to go everywhere. Also right under the apartment there is a little shop with fresh produce and across the street another one that sells salads from 9 until 4! We only wished we had more vacation time to visit. Rome has loads of places to visit. Fully recommended. Enjoy!

Chiara (the owner) was great and very helpful. Her English is great. We got in later than expected and she was still very accommodating. The apartment is as nice as it looking in the photos. The AC unit in the large bedroom was great at night (in July). The location is perfect. You can hop on the metro (just up the street) and be anywhere in Roma in a matter of minutes. Chiara left recommendation for restaurants and local hang outs. The internet was very reliable. The terrace is very nice to sit on during the evening. There is an elevator for luggage and people, which is helpful as it is several floors up. The only issue we had was the minimal water pressure and colder water temperatures in one of the bathrooms (we just ended up using the 2nd bath and had no problem.) [Note: we did not contact Chiara re: this issue but believe she would have resolved the issue had we done so. We were fine just using the other bathroom.] There is a dishwasher and washing machine for clothing (a huge plus!). This is a great place for a family or two couples. The kitchen is stocked with cooking ware and it would be very easy to save money by cooking your own meals while spending the evening drinking wine on the terrace. This is a great place and highly recommended.

We had a great stay at this penthouse apartment near Palazzo Barberini. The apartment was clean, airy, and nicely furnished. We especially enjoyed the terrace. Chiara met us promptly to let us in to the apartment and gave us recommendations on what to see and do in Rome. She provided a list of restaurants, bars, and attractions, along with a reference for using the metro and train system. There was an issue with the toilet in the second bathroom and Chiara was extremely responsive - she came by that night to check the issue and then returned with a plumber the following morning. She brought us pastries and chatted with us while the plumber worked. She was a gracious host. I would definitely recommend staying at this apartment. In our group we had one couple and three friends and it was a great experience.

We spent a wonderful week in Rome in June, 2012 and absolutley loved Chiaras' apartment! It was exactly as shown and clean as a can be. Chiara met us at the apartment with a wonderful bottle of wine and tons of information about her beautiful city. I would not hesitate to recommend Chiara as a host or stay in her fabulous apartment again if I am so blessed as to be able to travel to Roma again! Ciao

"This apartment Is well located in the center of the city close to every major attraction and far enough from the swarm tourist hustle! Located in the 4th floor of a nice Conventional building a few steps away from piazza Baberini. In the apartment you have everything you can possibly need to make your rome experience an Excellent one! The apartment is well Maintained, Designed in clean lines, ac in both rooms, folded sofa, full kitchen , dining room and a large balcony. one of the best deals in the city ! erez "

The apartment and neighborhood both met our needs perfectly. Chiara could not have been more responsive or more helpful. Her recommendation about where to get the best carcioffi giudea resulted in a memorable lunch.

The kitchen is very well equipped. One night we prepared an exceptional meal using ingredients found at the Campo di Fiori, the alimentari a few doors away and the supermercato a few blocks away. We created not just a meal, but a memorable Roman evening. I will definitely be returning to Rome and hope we will be able to again stay in this spacious and comfortable apartment.

A group of 5 of us stayed here May 10-14. Chiara was great to work with and the penthouse was better than we expected. The apartment is right at Piazza Barbieri and was a great location, 10 mins to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and 15 mins to the Pantheon.

The terrace was a great way to start and end the day. And allowed everyone enough space to spread out. There are wonderful restaurants in the area and Chiara even shared some of her picks there and in other neighborhoods.

A word to the non-europeans, the shutters on the outside actually work! If you close them, you will be able to shut out more light than just the curtain alone, we didn't realize that to the end. There is a bit a of street noise, but you are in Rome, our ipod earbuds did the trick for us.

Beds were comfortable and the apartment is updated and very modern, a great find!

cet appartement est trés bien placé , trés beau, trés bien entretenu nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.Cependant nous pensons qu'il y a un gros effort à faire pour l'isolation phonique des chambres en effet il y beaucoup de bruit qui passe par les fenetres, il faudrait mettre un bon double vitrage !!!et un four micro-onde en cuisine serait bien venu.
Concernant notre hôte,chiara, ses conseils nous ont bien aidé a trouvé de bons restos !!
le quartier est vraiment idéal pour visiter Rome....
