A great family cabin
This was our family's 8th Spring Break trip to the Smokies. We have rented 8 different cabins over the years, and this was one of our favorites. For us, we prefer to avoid the busy tourist attractions and concentrate most of our time in the Smoky Mountain National Park. The location of the cabin was great - close to the Park, and not up narrow, winding roads, like others we have stayed at. The cabin has a great layout. It is spacious, and feels more like a home than a rental. It was very clean upon arrival. It was great having a small back yard for the kids to run around, as many of the other cabins we've rented just have a drop-off down a steep hill in the back. The kids also enjoyed the wrap-around porch that goes completely around the second level of the cabin. The property has a nice circle drive for easy entrance and exit. The cabin provides plenty of seating for dinners - a large dining table, plus a bar counter with four stools. The appliances are great, and include a fridge with ice and filtered water. If I were to be picky, the only things we missed were a toaster (we improvised by making toast in the oven) and a gas grill (normally we like to do lots of grilling on our trips), but these wouldn't be deal-breakers, and we'd definitely consider renting again. Randy is very hospitable and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this cabin.
