On the top floor (with elevator) of a 1600 century building, this newly rennovated 70m² apartment with a stunning view and terrace on Campo de Fiori provides the ideal home base for a full immersion in the history and charm of old Rome. The entrance of the apartment opens into a large and bright living and dining area (with TV, stereo, dvd player), which includes a dining table for four and a large sofa bed that sleeps two people. Next is a spacious bedroom with a queensize bed, a large closet and a chest of drawers. The marble kitchen is fully renovated and equipped. The marble bathroom includes a bath and shower. A washing machine is available for longer stays. The apartment includes antique wood-paneled ceilings and floors, antique wooden fans as well as air-conditioning and free wifi. Finally, the apartment features one of the rare terraces on Campo de' Fiori, with a traditional ceramic table and chairs, where to lunch, dine or simply enjoy the colors and sounds of the Eternal City

This apartment in Campo de Fiori is perfect in every way! It feels like home as soon as you walk through the door. The bed and sofabed were very comfortable; the apartment was clean and well equipped. It is within walking distance of all the major sights and has many restaurants nearby, not to mention the market. The view from the windows and awesome terrace provided continual entertainment as we watched the market in the morning and the nightlife in the evening. It made you feel as if you were in the heart of the city. Nathalie and Enrique are charming and incredibly helpful. All emails (and there were many!) prior to our visit were answered promptly, and they also arranged our transportation from the airport and then to the port. It was a pleasure to meet them and their son, Diego, in person. We would definitely recommend their apartment and hope to visit again ourselves.

Noise: it's the Campo dei Fiori: all of life is here, if you're a light sleeper take some ear plugs...they work.
Apartment:
Security: excellent.
Cleanliness: adequate
Comfort: very comfortable bed. Sofa both practical and comfortable.
Bathroom: if you love a power shower every morning this is not the place for you. It is a 17th century building and the water pressure is low, however there is plenty of hot water and a perfectly good bath.
Kitchen: exactly as shown in the photo. Very small but for those who are interested only in light cooking it is adequate. Utensils are a bit tired and some need replacing but the owners have said they are going to review the complete kitchen inventory and as they are most helpful I fully expect this to be done.
Overall, an excellent location with helpful hosts. The pickup car to and from the airport was superb.

We had a wonderful stay at Nathalie and Enrique's great apartment. It looked even better than in the pictures on the website. The layout is very convenient and the patio off the living room is exceptional. We enjoyed looking over the square each evening. Great location--we easily walked to all the sites (except Vatican City. Service was fabulous (if only they could control the weather...ha!). Can't wait to visit again!

Great Location for all the sights of Rome

The three of us spent two weeks at Camp De Fiori. We could not have been more centrally located for all the sights of Rome. All the services needed are close by, but you may need to ask as there are lots of small streets. Cars have very limited access so you don't hear the noisy cars of Rome. The patio is a good size and has afternoon shade with a water tap to keep cool. The description was accurate and the owner was helpful for local info. We enjoyed the activity of the piazza from the patio. Apartment was clean and in good shape and a good size considering the location. The A/C was a must have for the hot weather. We felt we had good value for our travel dollars and fully recommend.

Great location for all major sites in Rome, all within walking distance. Loved the roof patio in the evenings. Would suggest air-conditioning for the bedroom due to the noise level from the plaza below. Nathalie and Enrique were very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful home base for Roman holiday

Apartment was perfect for our family of 4. Great view of Campo dei Fiori and perfect home base to walk to all the sites in Rome. Owners were absolutely love and had great advice on restaurants and shops nearby. So glad we had this apartment to call home during our stay. Would recommend highly!!!

Wonderful apartment, wonderful location

My husband and I recently returned from a terrific 2 week vacation in Rome thanks in large part to our stay in this wonderful apartment. The apartment is centrally located. Most tourist sites are within an easy walk. The apartment has been renovated with modern appliances and bathroom fixtures. The queen bed and furniture are very comfortable. The terrace, which overlooks the Campo, is especially delightful and we loved sitting out, relaxing, and enjoying the never-ending street scene at the end of a day of sight-seeing. We did some light cooking in the apartment and especially enjoyed buying high quality vegetables and fruits in the Campo de' Fiori market, cheese and salami in the nearby shops, and delicious cookies and breads in the bakeries. The owners provided a list of nearby pizzerias, trattorias, and up-scale restaurants and we enjoyed several good meals. We cannot speak highly enough about Enrique and Nathalie, the owners of the apartment. Before and during our stay, they were available to answer any question or give any needed suggestion. They arranged transportation to and from the airport, met us at the apartment to show us around and explain where to find local amenities, and arranged a delicious home-cooked meal. We look forward to a return trip to Rome and another stay in this delightful apartment.

Perfect hospitality in the heart of Rome!!!

Looking at the picture we were not sure, if the photos and text could are real... Arriving we were positively astonished - everything was even a bit better!!! Nathalie, Enrique and family really take care for their guests and you can really refer to their recommendations. We loved Giovannas cooking! The terrace is a great place to relax and have a look on the Campo full of life by day with the market and by night with funny people.
I´m sure, we will come back to this great place! Many thanks again to Nathalie and Enrique!

Life as it should be

The apartment was a real find. Perfect location first of all, made all the more ideal by comfort, warmth, a terrific view, without fault. The owners were more than helpful and really genuine and nice people. I would recommend staying there to everyone except I want to keep it a secret for us. The Campo is full of very good restaurants which we didnt go to, but they were buzzing. The famous bakery is of course a must with great slices of pizza and all manner of breads and frappes. The little bus service that runs through the square is useful and takes you to the Pantheon and all places north of the campo. But everything you need is directly in front of you and it is difficult to leave and travel far.

Absolutely Perfect!

Our stay at Campo de Fiori was perfect. My husband, young daughter, and I stayed here in mid- January 2012. The owner was extremely helpful in setting up our reservation and answering all of my questions before hand. We took her up on the offer to arrange for airport transportation and the private chef, both of which I recommend. The driver took us right to the front door where the owner met us and showed us around the apartment and ensured we were well situated. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and he gave us a map and showed us where we could walk to find a open supermarket for some essentials. The apartment is lovely...it is fully modern and recently renovated, and is both elegant and comfortable at the same time-- the pictures do not do it justice. The kitchen is small, but well stocked with everything you would need to prepare a wonderful breakfast (as we did every morning) or delicious dinner (as we did as well). As we love food and love to cook (and were travelling with our 2.5 year old), finding an apartment with a kitchen above the Campo di Fiori market was my goal. The market is open daily and is full of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as some pasta, olive oil, and spice vendors. From the terrace you get a lovely view of the market and of the surrounding areas. It is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and some local delicacies. The double bed in the bedroom was new and extremely comfortable. The sofa in the living room converts into a bed--our daughter slept out there--and it was comfortable as well. Some sofa beds are dreadful. The hot water did not work the greatest, but considering the building was built in the 16th century, it didn’t seem worth holding it against the apartment. The location is perfect. You can walk to just about anywhere in 30 minutes to include the Vatican and the Coliseum (each on opposite sides of Rome). The best part of Rome is just wandering the streets and stumbling upon things. On our last night we had the private chef come and cook dinner for us. Going out to a gourmet dinner is hard with a toddler, so we gave it a try. It was AMAZING. Really. If you are considering it at all and the option is still available- go for it, you will not be disappointed.
We truly, truly enjoyed our time, and hope that someday we get a chance to come back. Thank you both, you really enhanced the visit with all of your assistance. We were lucky to find your apartment, and hope to be back soon!
