After many months waiting for my next trip to Barbados, I finally arrived at Seagrass and was very pleased. It was just as beautiful as the pictures from the website! The location was absolutely fantastic! The layout was good, and the amenities exactly as advertised. I was quite fond of the kitchen/dining area. It was nice to be able to visit with family and guests while meals were being prepared. I found that the property was well maintained and clean.
All the personal touches made me feel right at home. From the Earthworks pottery, to the sea shells found on beach combing expeditions, it was clear that everything had been chosen with care.
Being only two short blocks to the beach and close to the corner store, it is just far enough away from the buzz of the Gap for a little peace and quiet after a long day in the sun.
If you're willing to brave the winding, and sometimes unmarked Bajan roads, a drive up the coast to Bathsheba for some surfing is an experience you won't soon forget.
If you prefer to lounge on the beach, Sandy Beach is lovely. There are chairs and umbrellas for rent, as well as some small restaurants to grab a Banks and lunch.
Although not right down the street, the Carib Bar is an absolute must try! The best calamari I have ever had.
Whether it's your first visit to Barbados or your tenth, Oistins on Friday night can't be missed. Annie's has amazing flying fish and there's never a shortage of entertainment.
The only suggestion I have would be for wifi to have been available. At the time of my visit it had not been installed, but I was assured that on my next visit it would be, and I intend to make another visit in the near future to Seagrass!
It is an amazing property that I have recommended to many friends and family!
