In fact, we have already booked for next summer. This place is first class all the way, from location to amenities to decor to comfort. Nothing is lacking to make your trip everything you hope it will be. Parking, while a bit of a challenge on weekends, is do-able. Kirstin was always available for questions, etc. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Bike down the path to the end to check out the waves at "The Wedge".

My son and I stayed here when he was competiting in a nearby athletic event. I was very pleased with the location and unit. I usually get a vacation rental when I travel and this one is one of the best that I've found. The unit looked brand new and was perfectly clean. I normally take my own cleaning supplies such as dish soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, etc. It was a pleasant surprise to find these things already there. We were walking distance to a grocery store, restaurants and the beach. Although I didn't cook while we were there, if I had, the kitchen was stocked with dishes, utensils and cookware that were nice quality (not the low end stuff you usually get and don't want to use). If my son participates in the same competition next year, this is the place I will want to stay at. Oh, and because my husband wasn't able to come on this trip, I was very happy that I felt completely safe there. The owners were very helpful in every way. Thank you!

This Newport Beach Contemporary was the BEST. I was in town for the Diebenkorn show at OCMA (less than 10 miles away) and this was a short stroll to the beach, sunsets, grocery store, and great coffee shops. Some days I never used the car. I crated art on the covered patio and created a lot of art -- inspired by this lovely property and top location. The hosts have carefully thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay perfect in this clean, well-maintained and contemporary home away from home. A full complete outfitted kitchen is a plus -- I enjoy cooking on my vacations, though there are countless local walking distance choices if you don't want to cook. I am definitely coming back again!

My son, 9 year old granddaughter and I spent 6 days in this lovely beach house. We parked the car and either walked or rode bikes everywhere, with the bikes provided by the owners (a nice cost-saving perk!). While the pictures of the apartment give potential renters an excellent idea of what to expect, they don't completely capture the amenities that the owners have thoughtfully provided or the concern for comfort and convenience that is so evident in each room. We cooked some meals at home, but also enjoyed meals at several restaurants within walking distance, including Mama D's, the Cannery, the Blue Water Grill and the Matahari Cafe, which was especially memorable and highly
recommended! Even though a huge number of raucous visitors descended on Newport Beach over the 4th of July weekend, and the boardwalk became a bit too treacherous for bike riding, we decided that the community must have a vigorously enforced noise ordinance because the parties didn't disturb our sleep. However, this particular weekend is probably better suited for young singles as opposed to families. We look forward to returning to this property when we plan our next trip to Orange County! Very highly recommended in all of the important aspects of a seaside holiday!

This apartment is AMAZING! The photos do not do it justice. This is the second time we have had the pleasure of staying there. Close to the beach and restaurants. No need to drive anywhere. This place is super clean and top of the line. The owners are amazing! Don't think twice! BOOK NOW :) Kirsten, we will be booking again for September!

We've been renting apartments for 5 years, and this is the most beautiful, nicely decorated, well appointed and clean we've been. The place is very comfortable, everything is neat, it looks like a new apartment.
Great location, you can walk to beach. A very convenient supermarket two blocks away, and all the appliances needed to cook.
Washer-Dryer are very useful. Big fridge and great speed internet.
Owners were also really nice! I would definetely come back next time I get the chance to travel to Newport Beach.

We were very pleased with the rental. It was accurately described, the photos gave us a good idea of the condition of the unit. The owners maintain this very new property well and it was superbly clean, quiet and well appointed. We recommended it to friends of ours who stayed in the unit for a family wedding recently. Not only did the place suit our needs, but the owners were helpful in providing details for other area services, including finding a baby sitter for our granddaughter. Great place, great owners!

Great spot, close to the beach and all other area services, restaurants, bars and amusements within close walking distance, such as newport pier, Mutt Lynch's, BlueWater Grill, Alta Coffee, Il Forno, Il Gelato and of course the beach. These are only a few of the many attractions. Balboa fun spot, Back Bay Nature trail, Balboa Island, Huntington Beach are all short bike rides away.

We loved this place so much we've been there twice. The description was spot on, photos don't do this place justice. Very clean and well maintained. Owners quicking became friends. We parked our car and didn't get back into it until the end of our stay. Anything you could ever want withing walking distance. I've raved to all my friends and family, don't waste your money on a hotel, VRBO is the way to go. We hope to make a 3rd trip soon.
