This luxourius duplex, at 1640 Sq ft is very spacious and quiet. It will accommodate a large family, two families or a group of friends up to 8 persons (if you use the sofabed in the living-room).

Its close location to the Metro will make sightseeing a breeze and you will find is easy to go anywhere in Paris for the day, to Notre-Dame, the Eiffel Tower, or le Louvre, and then go home again, get groceries and wine, and make dinner, or go out to a local bistro.

With fully equipped kitchen, good sized living room and dining room, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, the flat will give you plenty of room. East and west exposed, it is amazingly sunny and bright all day long. Its newly renovated decor includes a refined blend of classic and modern styles.

With its two windows viewing the tree-lined avenue Ledru Rollin, its antique terra cotta floor, its white painted beams, its sculptured marble fireplace, and its grand piano, it will certainly seduce you.

All new appliances (wifi, etc) provided.

Sleeping in the duplex: An Art-Déco staircase leads to the bedrooms. Here again, there is plenty of sunlight as there are windows all around and a canopy. The flooring allover is comprised of hard wooden parquet. There is a master bedroom (double size bed) with en-suite office with build-in shelves and a marble fireplace. Two single beds there are very convenient for children or teenagers. The two other bedrooms present double size beds (one being a queen bed). All double size beds have nightstands and bedside lamps. A mirrored dressing room designed by an Italian artist offers space for your clothes.

Visiting Paris: This superb accommodation is a few step away from 3 metros : Voltaire is the nearest, Bastille and Ledru-Rollin are within five minutes walk, offering quick and direct access to the main attractions of the city : within 15 minutes, you are done to Montmartre, Saint-Germain-des-Près, the Champs-Elysées, Pigalle, Beaubourg (Centre Georges Pompidou) and famous stores like the Printemps or the Galeries Lafayette. Thanks to the close Gare de Lyon, within 10 minutes walk, you will reach with the RER A famous DisneyLand or the Defense in less than half an hour.

Really the perfect place to visit the City of Light !

Amazing stay for multi generation visit to Paris

This was an excellent stay for a three generation 10 days trip to Paris. My mother, daughter and I enjoyed every minute spent in the apartment. The beds are comfortable, the bath is great and the kitchen is fun. The area was excellent, full of restaurants, great cafes, good market to buy food for the nights we decided to stay home and superb shopping. Would highly recommend this place.
Natalie was pleasant, helpful and accommodating.

Lots of space, beauty, charm and soul

We were travelling two families together for 5 days in Paris. We rented this charming apartment and had a wonderful time. of course we spent a lot of time in outside on the streets as tourists, but we also had a great time relaxing and cooking in the apartment. Here we found all equipment needed - and in the most authentic delicious French style. We loved the big kitchen, the spacious dining room, the soft sofa, the airy bathroom, the light from the big windows, the 3 bedrooms (even if one of them could have better mattresses). All in all: this apartmet was splendid and the whole mood was perfect. The apartment is very easy to catch from the metro 'Voltaire'. Nathalie herself welcommed us in her very nice manner and we immediately had the good feeling of 'home'. She showed us how everything worked and told us just to enjoy. Thanks for the trust and confidence and for some very nice days... Hopefully we will have the possibility to be back again some day :o)

The 3 double beds are in perfect shape but the two spare beds for kids could be better when used by grown-ups. I will have them changed as soon as I can. Thank you Trine for your advice !

Fabulous Kitchen - Great Location

We stayed in this roomy, comfortable apartment over Christmas and New Year's Eve and had a wonderful time. We had a large group of extended family members, from 20-year olds to grandparents and everyone found the location ideal. Clubs and bars for the younger ones, great fresh markets nearby for the older ones. We spent our days busy with sight-seeing and came home to a completely outfitted kitchen, with a truly remarkable stove, to cook, eat, talk, drink wine... It was ideal.

Natalie will give you great advice about transportation to and from the airport and was very kind and pleasant to do business with. If we get a chance, we will return!

Excellent Experience!

Nathalie is a wonderful, generous host. The apartment is in a seriously old timber-construction building. It has every modern convenience though, even a dishwasher which isn't common in Paris rentals. The apartment listing is spot-on. Very comfortable, spacious and charming. From the front bedroom you can see Sacré Coeur, the Pantheon, the Bastille monument and the Montparnasse tower quite clearly. The apt is on the top two floors of the building, allowing quiet for a good night sleep. There are lots of skylights, letting in lots of natural light. All in all, and excellent apartment.

Roomy, comfortable apartment in the Bastille area

My husband and I have stayed in many Paris apartments. This one was the best! It was very large with comfortable beds and furniture. It also had a superb kitchen which was very nice for the professional chef who was with us. We enjoyed going to the nearby food market (Marche d'Aligre) and preparing our meals in the apartment after big days of walking in Paris. The apartment location was excellent -- small grocery right next door, Monoprix a block away, the Metro stop just two blocks down the street and the giant Bastille Market within walking distance. We found the apartment to be just like the pictures. Nathalie was there to meet us and we had a delightful time getting to know her. She provided lots of things that we needed -- spices, staples for the kitchen, supplies for the bathrooms and washing machine, etc. After 11 nights, we hated to leave! We would love to stay there again in the near future.

WONDERFUL PLACE, VERY WELL LOCATED AND EQUIPPED AND THE SUPERMARKET JUST UNDER THE FLAT IS ANOTHER BIG PLUS.

Your dream apartment in Paris

The luxury of spending a week in Paris with two of your best girlfriends couldn't have been made any better than by staying at this lovely apartment. Three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, laundry and a wonderful kitchen (but we cook at home). This very well cared for apartment was located very convienently to the antiques market, bikes for loan, the trail on the old viaduct and of course all the tourist sights. We loved the neighborhood ...coffee down the street, groceries downstairs and late night darts around the corner. Nathalie, the homeowner, is charming and helpful. My only hesitation in writing this review is I hope the apartment is available the next time I come to Paris and I haven't compromised that by singing it's praises.

Enjoyable stay in Bastille neighborhood

Natalie, the landlady, was wonderful to deal with. She was responsive, flexible and friendly. The apartment was charming with plenty of room for four adults and two teenagers. The kitchen was well equipped, though we did not use the professional stove. The washer was nice to have, along with the two baths. The kids were impressed with the walk in closet.

This apartment is convenient to the Metro, a bakery and the grocery store. We would stay again.

Wonderful duplex and excellent hostess

We spent three nights in the duplex and we only have positive things to say. The owner was very friendly and helpful, the flat beautiful, very well decorated and in a great location. Good restaurants nearby and a supermarket next door. Members of my family from Spain, UK and Poland stayed there and we all found it highly recommendable.

Fab, Well Kept, and Spacious Apt Near Everything!

We visited Paris for my wife's 40th birthday celebration. We have used Homeaway many times and it did not let us down this time either. The apartment is beautiful and well kept with all of the information and items needed to make our trip successful. We love to cook and cooked in the beautiful kitchen. Although we were in Paris to see the sights, we also needed to rest and the apartment was perfect for relaxation both from our daily lives back in the U.S. and after seeing the beautiful sights of Paris. Our host was very helpful and easy to deal with on all aspects of our trip. The pictures on the site were exactly representative of the apartment and show just how beautiful and well kept the home is maintained. I must admit that U.S. users do not quickly convert sq. meters to sq ft easily, but rest assured that this apartment is large and comfortable. We traveled with another couple and the living space being divided into two floors provides more than enough room for privacy when needed. Additionally, the building has an elevator so getting up and down when we didn't want to take the stairs was quick and convenient too. One last amenity that is very helpful and not mentioned is that immediately outside of the apartment is a Carrefour market which is basically a grocery store with almost every staple you would need for your stay.

I am not usually a review writer but this experience was worth the time needed to write this review. You will not go wrong with with this apartment if you want a memorable and relaxing trip. When we return to Paris we would rent this unit again or suggest it to a friend.
