Relaxing and comforting waterfront home sitting on a 10,000 sq ft corner lot where you can park your motorhome, boat and car. . Cross Key Cummunity has minimal traffic due to this home is on a street that has a culdersac at the end . We have a nice barbecue area under a tiki hut . We have a 12 X 30 screened in porch with a beautiful patio furniture to relax on. Just 50 minutes from Miami International Airport and minutes away from John Pennecamp State Park, spending less time traveling and more time enjoying paradise - The Florida Keys, Diving/Fishing Capital of the World. Fishing, snorkeling, swimming . Our property is just minutes away from Adams Cut Canal. Nearby dive shops offer daily trips to Molasses Reef where you can dive or snorkel the largest-living coral reef in North America. We are near by fine dinning, souvenir shops and a waterpark. This home is also about 18 miles from an Outlet mall (Florida City)

This home has a ramp for wheelchair access. This property has a station for cleaning the fishes next to the Tiki Hut.

This House has a dock for a boat. (extra charge for dock)

Great location and home!

There was a bottle of wine and fresh fruit waiting our arrival! This house is cleaner than my own house...and that is clean. All rooms were well kept and freshly painted.

There was cable TV in each bedroom and the living room. The house has wifi. My favorite space was the large screened porch...so peaceful.

The fishing was amazing...we brought our boat and docked it on the canal outside the house. We met neighbors and they gave us fishing tips. The neighborhood is very friendly, quiet and safe. We walked every night after dinner.

Lots of places nearby to eat and drink...Pilot House, the Fish House, Shipwrecks, Snook's Bayside, Mrs. Mac's Kitchen, Jimmy Johnson's, etc. Supermarkets, pharmacies and banks are all within 3 miles. MIA is only an hour away.

I highly recommend this place to others...it was the best Florida vacation ever!

It was a great decision to come down to Key Largo for our 2012 Christmas vacation. We had warm weather (mainly in 70s) while our friends in NE dealt with below freezing temperature and snow. Florida Keys offer so many activities, we enjoyed fishing, kayaking, glass-bottom boating and parasailing, etc. Seafood is fresh, and the milk shake from "Robert is here" is to die for.
It is our first time to rent from homeaway, what a pleasant experience. This property has a good location, easy access to all tourist attractions,from Key West to Everglades. House is clean, well kept and spacious for a family of 4. Owner Clara is very easy to work with and the neighbours are friendly.
Highly recommend it.

Hi Clara, This is Warren Gary Johnson saying thanks for letting us use your home for our fishing vacation. It was fantastic and we caught a lot of fish! The Super Bowl Cake and NFL Beer were most thoughtful of you. The house was so clean,the house was decorated beautifully with beachi colors. We definitely want to come back next January but don't have specific dates locked in yet. Say hi to Willy and your son.

Great Vacation Spot ....

Clara, the owner met us and provided us with information about the house and area. She left us a bottle of wine and delicious Florida fruit for us to enjoy. We instantly felt at home. The rooms were tastefully decorated in Carribean colors and the furnishings were modern and comfortable. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Many hours were spent in the very large screen room enjoying the sun and warmth. The tiki hut with the outside grill was another favorite spot that we enjoyed. An unexpected treat for us was the daily visits of a egrit who fished for his dinner right next to us.

We greatly enjoyed our visit and plan to rent this property again next year.

When you visit check out the pilot house restaurant/bar. Casual, with glass inserts in floor so you can watch fish under your feet.

Great Place For Vacationing

The house is beautiful and clean. The owner had renovated the floors with new tiles and painted the whole house. The kitchen is of good size for light cooking with all necessary appliances in good working condition, sufficent dishes and utensils. The living room and terrace is of good size. The view from the terraces was great. We used the oudoor grill and relaxed on the hammock in the tiki house.

The master bedroom was of good size with modest size closets and attached bathroom. The second bedroom was also of good size. The washer and dryers were of great help.

The owner provided us with a file of nearby attractions, grocery and drug stores, etc. Our flight was late by 3.5 hours, but the owner waited for us in the house to give us the keys.

Area is filled with great restaurants, esp the Num Thai, and fun activities. John Pennekamp state park, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing expeditions, diving, etc are a few blocks away. Key West is about 2.5 hrs, Miami 2 hrs and Ever Glades about 1.5 hrs from this place.

Recommended for: Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
