We enjoyed the Silver Strike because of its modern designer finishes-- stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, automatic gas fireplace, entertainment system, heated bathroom floors, halogen lighting, and wireless internet. Clearly, the owners have excellent taste and are not interested in roughing it while at Northstar! The location was excellent, just two blocks from the village with convenient shuttle service. We also took full advantage of the homeowners association access to the pool, spa, and gym.

Comfortable vacation home

We just spent a week in this home. It was a fantastic place and they really have thought of almost everything. It is comfortable and recently updated. The kitchen is fantastic. We cooked almost all meals here, and it had everything I needed (except for a BBQ). The 2 decks overlook a greenbelt and it was incredibly peaceful and quiet. You can walk/bike to the village or drive a short distance (we did not use the shuttle, but did see it come by frequently). The HOA recreation center is great - pools, sauna, excercise room, grassy area and play area for kids. The arcade was fun for the kids. It is a short drive to Lake Tahoe. We would definitely recommend this vacation home!
One complaint---they need a new mattress on the sleeper sofa.

Recommended for: Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
