What a wonderful apartment and a very gracious owner! Anna had a very clean, well-maintained apartment that is so convenient to a great beach. We especially enjoyed watching the kite-surfers, including the beginners. While the apartment could be cozy for 4 people, but it was perfect for two of us. Anna not only drove us to the supermarket, but she also helped us get a reservation for Big Band night at Yerba Buena, which they have every Monday night. Anna, we hope to be able to return to your apartment, or perhaps to your new one once your husband has completed all of the renovations.

The apartment was wonderful. We had three people in our group and the apartment had plenty of space for us. The beach is extremely close and is never too crowded, even during the weekend. We rented a car and never had any problem with street parking. Could not recommend this place more highly.

The apartment was in excellent conditions and very clean! Short walk to the beach and plenty to do! Anna and her husband went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed to enjoy my time in PR! Beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, cable, internet, etc.! I highly recommend this property if you are looking for an affordable and cozy apartment. I will be returning and referring my friends to Anna's properties! Thanks!

My partner and step-son (9-years old) stayed in this rental in June 2012 and had a really wonderful stay. Anna was a wonderful host and the apartment was pretty much perfect in every way! Some of our favorite things:

- The apartment is in a fantastic location. Walking distance to a great beach, restaurants and convenience stores are close by, safe area, not too far from Old San Juan (it's a pretty long walk - though i did walk it - but the bus is there too).
- We rented a car and had no problem finding parking on the street for our entire stay.
- The apartment is super clean and comfortable. It was quiet and stocked with pretty much everything we could have needed from shampoo and soap to kitchen items to beach chairs, etc..
- The little porch was great for having coffee in the mornings.
- Beds were comfy and the apt was a fine size for the 3 of us.
- Anna was super helpful with everything we needed (a little guide of the area, giving us the heads-up about fun events during our stay, etc)
It's true that the water in the shower wasn't super hot, but it was warm enough outside that it didn't really matter.

Overall - we would be extremely happy to stay at this rental again in the future without any hesitation at all - it was a really lovely apartment. We highly recommend it. Thanks again Anna for making our vacation wonderful and relaxing!

This unit has been completely renovated and attention to detail is reflected in all the furnishings, linens and dishes. Everything was of good quality and VERY CLEAN. I felt right at home.

I slept on the bed and my friend slept on the futon in the living room and both were very comfortable. The unit has a very nice balcony with a table and chairs, and I sat out there and had breakfast every morning. There was a nice breeze coming through so it was not hot at all.

We were two single women and felt very safe in the building and in the area. This is a fabulous location as you can walk to everything including the beautiful beach.

The owners Anna and Khaki are fantastic! They provided above and beyond the call of duty customer service and were were very friendly,professional, helpful and generous. They made my experience staying there very memorable. I highly recommend this vacation rental!

We loved staying at this condo. It was perfect for the two of us, nicely updated and CLEAN! Great linens, too, soft fluffy towels and comfortable sheets. We saved a ton of money being able to cook at the condo instead of eating out every meal, but we also explored some of the local restaurants and had only positive experiences.

The beach was extremely close, and a very nice beach at that. We spent a part of nearly every day there.

The owners were fantastic hosts, offering to take us to the grocery store and offering suggestions of places to eat. It was obvious that they enjoyed greeting their guests and wanted to ensure their pleasant stay.

Only a few very minor things could have been improved: a few more cooking utensils/pans and food storage containers would have been nice but the basics were all there. If you are a fan of very hot showers, this is NOT the island for you! The cool water feels great after a long day of trekking around in the heat and humidity though! I would not recommend this condo for more than 2 adults unless you are very cozy people, but it is was the perfect size for us.

Tip: Take the C-53 bus for 75cents on McCleary St to Condado and Old San Juan. It is a nice, clean bus and saved us a ton of money on a rental car!

Apartment:
The apartment is exactly as advertised on this site. It is impeccably clean (from the kitchen to the bedroom to the bathroom), organized, and stocked with kitchen supplies, utensils, and bath and beach towels. Even though the apartment is advertised as being small, we slept four in the apartment (two in the queen-sized bed and two on the full-size futon bed) so it actually wasn't as small as I expected. We rarely watched TV but the two TVs had excellent reception and we didn't encounter any problems watching cable or DVDs. With four people, the kitchen and bathroom were often used but everything worked to perfection; you never want to deal with a plumbing issue or broken kitchen appliance when you're on vacation but we didn't have any problems, probably because of how well Anna maintains the place. The kitchen was fully stocked with modern appliances so we cooked many breakfasts and dinners there. The bar stool dining area (as seen in the pictures) created a perfect intimate and social dining area.

Location:
We couldn't have asked for a better location to stay in. We did a lot of research on San Juan before concluding that Ocean Park would be the best place to stay. We looked to avoid the super-touristy high-rises of Condado and Isla Verde and wanted a better beach experience than Old San Juan could offer. Ocean Park proved to be the perfect location for us. The residential neighborhood was secured at night, the streets were peaceful, and we found a more local, yet calmer crowd in the neighborhood and on the beach during the day. The beach down the street is clean, peaceful, and the water is really warm. There's a great breakfast place, a place with Mexican food, a local bar, a froyo shop, and a Walgreens within walking distance. A 25-30 min walk could get you to Condado as well. The beach was a minute down the street from the apartment complex. All in all, perfect location.

Owner:
Anna was extremely friendly and helpful from day one. She drove two of us to the grocery store upon arrival and we could contact her for any questions. On a few occasions, she advised us on good restaurants and other attractions and even offered to drive us there. You couldn't ask for more from a vacation rental owner.

Summary:
Again, the apartment was impeccably clean and in the perfect neighborhood. For us (4 college students on spring break), the place was affordable, liveable, and a cheap taxi ride away from restaurants, bars, clubs, and attractions.

Anna's apartment is great and she and her husband were wonderful hosts. Not only did they meet us at the apartment right away to help get us settled in, but they also offered to drive us to the grocery store if we needed to. Since we didn't need much and there is a Walgreens and a grocery store nearby, we didn't need to take them up on their offer but it was greatly appreciated. They live right down the street and said to call on them if we needed anything during our stay.

The apartment was exactly as described and pictured and is literally just a few steps to Ocean Park Beach. The kitchen and bathroom are very nice and the bedroom has a very comfortable mattress. The air conditioning works well, but it was nice to sometimes open up the windows and let the sea breeze in.

Both the building and apartment were quiet, clean and well maintained, and like I said just steps to the ocean. With the windows open on a quite morning you can actually hear the waves crashing.


The Ocean Park neighborhood is great--and we enjoyed eating at Pamela's, which is a guest house and restaurant right on the beach just a few blocks west, and also took advantage of beach chair and umbrella service a few times. Sometimes there is also another vendor available to rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach as well. Anna does provide chairs and towels for the beach too at the apartment.

We also did get dessert from Kasalta one night, which is a local bakery and restaurant just a couple blocks away.

The Condado neighborhood with even more restaurants and the big hotels with casinos and night life is very walk able from Anna's apartment.

Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment for a relaxing stay in San Juan!
