Easy access to everything! No car required. Comfortable, well furnished and efficient. Ideal for two couples or a small family (max.4 adults, 2 childs). 8 min. walk to a subway station for quick easy access to downtown Montreal (2 subway stations away). Located in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood, 8 min walk to a shopping mall (more than 100 stores including supermarket, drugstore, restaurants, SAQ, etc.), private parking space. Close to majors motorways (132, 20, 10, 15, 116 roads, etc.). We are officially registered as a tourist home (3 stars)..bathroom newly renovated-april 2013

Great Base to Explore Montreal

The apartment was like new, very clean, nice linens and comfortable beds, kitchen appliances modern and also like new. It seemed like it has recently been remodeled. We were able to easily cook many of our meals, and enjoy some of them on the balcony, which was nicer than I expected from the picture. The owners live next door and provided excellent service. Sylvie speaks very good English, and provided many brochures and personal tips about things to do. The suburban neighborhood was very quiet and safe. We had no trouble with the short walk, about 10 minutes, to the Metro station. My 2 teenage children and I left the car in the reserved, off street parking spot, and used Metro passes to see Montreal attractions. It was a short drive to shopping for groceries, etc. My kids like room to stretch out after a day of sight seeing, and this place was very comfortable. Our apartment was upstairs, which wasn't a problem for us. The WiFi access was fine. There were plenty of cable TV channels, English and French. A card listing the channels would be helpful. Wonderful Experience

Sylvie and Denis made us feel special from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Whether it be taking us to the shops when we first arrived or allowing us access to the swimming pool(not in contract)or baking us a local treat, their hospitality was outstanding.
We are a family of five from Scotland and loved every minute of our stay here in Montreal, property is as described, 10 minute walk from Metro which whisks you into Downtown Area within 10 minutes. We were blessed with Temperatures in the low 30s during early July 2012 so the air conditioning and the balcony out the back door was good to have.
Property was clean and well maintained and we all left Montreal with thoughts of emigration.
We were car-less and relatively fit and healthy so the walk to the Metro was not a problem, however there is a car space and it is available so were we to return it probably would be with car.
Thank you again Sylvie and Denis it was a great pleasure meeting you, Joan and the girls all say Thank You.

Fantastic place

We made a reservation for this place from 05/24/12 through 05/28/12. Our checking time was for 5:00 PM on 05/24/12, but we did not check in until 12:30 AM on 05/25/12. The delay was our fault because we took a long trip to Niagara Falls before heading to Montreal. Although we were late for the checking, the hosts (Sylvie and Denis) were waiting for us. They did not sleep until we got there, and we were very impressed. The house is very clean, well located (quiet neighborhood, metro station within 10 minutes). There were a bottle of wine and some kindies as a welcome gift. We felt like at home and the kids liked it.The kitchen was well equipped with coking accessories, so we were able to cook most of our meals without a problem. Denis was very helpful during our stay; he took us around to show us the groceries( as we love cooking our foods). We would rent this place again for our next vacation. Before leaving, we made some suggestions to Denis and Sylvie. Overall, this place is far better than an hotel ; especially for family with children.

Excellent choix!

Nous sommes restés un mois à cet endroit et avons été charmés. L'appartement est confortable et bien équipé (serviettes, vaisselle, électroménagers, fauteuils, tv, radio, meubles de rangement en quantité suffisante), chaleureux, très bien situé (centre d'achat, société des alcools, épicerie, club vidéo, parc et autres à proximité). Le calme y règne, les autres gens habitant l'édifice sont gentils, les propriétaires sont accueillants et avenants, bref, c'est un excellent choix pour loger lors de vacances ou autre. Nous sommes habitués à voyager et louer des appartements, et sommes assez critiques, mais cette fois, nous n'avons que du bon à dire. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter.
