Clearly the only people who say that have never stayed here! What a wonderful experience from the booking to the departure. What we first noticed pulling up to the house is the location. I was 30 feet from the front door to the most famous beach in the world. Of the two+ weeks we stayed there, we spent at least half of those mornings and/or evenings right there in front of the house. And for us, the North Shore is the only way to vacation in Hawaii. Spend $400+ a night in downtown Honolulu, a metropolis with traffic that makes Los Angeles look like a farm town for a 350 sq.ft. room and no laundry and kitchen? No thank you. The grocery store and Starbucks being a half mile from the house was a nice surprise too!
Speaking of the house. The incredibly friendly owners clearly have paid attention to everything a renter would want. And guess what, everything worked! I can't tell you how many times people list amenities and they are either old, malfunction or do not work at all. Not only did everything work, but everything was top of the line brands.
Much of the time, we did not use the AC, as there were windows everywhere to take in the fresh air and breeze and enjoy the sound of the waves crashing on shore. When we needed it, the AC in all the living spaces worked great. Two other huge pluses to mention here. Perfect parking right in your own drive. If you haven't been to the North Shore before, you will learn to appreciate this. Second, and probably the most used amenity, your own warm water rinse station at the private, gated entry to the house. As much time as we spent on the beach, this could not have been more a benefit than one could explain.
Thank you for the wonderful stay and the extremely clean and well appointed use of your beautiful home. You have thought of everything to make this a truly wonderful vacation.
By the way, if it wasn't obvious in this review, for me and my family, where you stay matters very much and makes it an experience, not simply a trip to Hawaii.

Surfers Paradise

We spent our spring break at this home in Northshore, Oahu. Location was perfect. Boys surfed everyday. Grocery store and rentals were conveniently located. The home was comfortable, clean, had a modern interior with awesome beach views. Wi-Fi internet and Cable TV a plus when traveling with teenagers and college students. Close to Haleiwa, Turtle Bay, and the Polynesian Cultural Center provided for many dining options and a taste of Polynesian culture. Would highly recommend. A very enjoyable family vacation. Mahalo!!!

The home at rocks pile is insane....location, emenities,cleanliness, and neighbors were all stellar.....Audrey and Tricia handled all the particulars professionally....we will be back.....and i will reccomend to our friends looking for a really nice home on the north shore.....thank you.....Billy and guests.....

Awesome Vacation

We just returned from a fantastic time on North Shore. This home is very nicely appointed. The beds are super comfortable. The kitchen is very functional, and the family/ sitting area/ TV area is also super comfortable. The house is great! More importantly though is the location. We visited in early January. This is the big wave time of year on the North Shore. We could literally walk out the front door to the beach and see the best surfers in the world surfing on the some of the best waves in the world. The house is convenient to a grocery store, and is a short (8-10 mile) drive to Haleiwa. Also nearby are Waimea bay and Waimea falls, "Turtle Beach," and all of the other North Shore attractions. Also our boys enjoyed the skate park, which is just across the highway. We hope to make this an annual event for our family.

Amazing North Shore beach house!

Aloha,
This was our first trip to the North Shore and we loved it! As a group we have traveled all over the world to surf and we were more than stoked on this location. The local neighbors were amazing and friendly. The owners were very helpful and easy to communicate with. Being an intermediate surfer the waves out front were perfect. In the morning we would roll around the skate park across the street and for the rest of the day we would be chilling at the quite beach out front and surfing when the swell was good. Haleiwa is a great authentic town only a few minutes away where you can get anything that you need.

My family and I had an amazing vacation. This home is located at the perfect spot. Just steps to the most beautiful beaches you have ever seen. There were waves, tide pools & spectacular sunsets every night. This home is fully stocked for the best vacation, everything you'll need from the perfect kitchen for our family to gather around to the flat screen t.v's in every room. We can't wait to come back. Thanks Audrey you gave us paradise!

No better plave to stay on North Shore!

We loved every minute of our stay. If you surf, no better place with log cabins, pipeline only steps away. If you don't surf, doesn't matter. Watch the pros surf from the breakfast table. Totally totally awesome!!!!
