1 Bedroom with a queen size bed, 1 full bath, full kitchen and one living area

This beautiful recently renovated Loft is found in a well established and friendly neighborhood, minutes from downtown and the 6th Street venue, the Med Center and the UT campus. The bus stop is one block from the Loft on route to the UT campus. Pecan season is here again, so you will find tasty cinnamon pecan treats and fresh fruit in the fridge! A very comfortable queen bed, nice leather couch that converts to a double bed, 32' flat screen HDTV, high-speed wireless internet access, and a full-size kitchen stocked with great coffee and teas. These are a few of the features of this 500 sq. ft. loft. There is also off-street parking, and a fully-fenced small courtyard for those traveling with their dogs. Just minutes from great coffee shops, restaurants and music venues. Relax at Brentwood Park across the street, with a walk or a game at the basketball court, or the tennis courts. The Loft is 10 minutes from 2 beautiful municipal golf courses and less that 15 minutes from the 4.5 mile Bull Creek hike and bike trail.

Centrally Located just 10 min North of Downtown : Austin's famous Epoch Coffee Bar is a 5 minute drive and Threadgills restaurant and music venue is 5-6 blocks away. Also, Monkey Nest Organic Coffee is a 5 minute drive. Many other music venues and lots of Japanese and sushi bars close by. 6 Blocks away from Dallas Nite Club!

We want people coming to Austin for a visit, to get to have a chance to enjoy some of the things that are great about living here. My Texas roots brought me back from up north in 1988. I have been enjoying this beautiful city with much gratitude every day. I am a Realtor by profession but my passion is my grandchildren. I love taking them to the City pool a block away during those blistering summer afternoons. Digging thru the multitude of vintage and antique shops nearby continually feed my age old passion of hunting for those special old must haves. So - If you are coming to enjoy Austin or looking at relocating here, it will always be my pleasure to help. That's me and my 35 yr old son.

Why Terry Parr chose Austin

This newly renovated loft is my guest house loft. I had fun residing there while the rest of my house was being renovated. It actually feels like a tree house as it nestles among oak and pecan trees. It's fun watching the trees sway and the squirrels and birds while being totally protected inside the loft. The property is so amazing and filled with history and character and I feel it is my privilege to be bringing it back to its original stature. The social nature of the neighborhood is awesome. The neighborhood deli a couple of blocks away as well as the grocery store gives it an old town feeling - right in the middle of Austin - its great! - come visit and you will experience a part of the way old Austin used to be.

What makes this house unique

The unique benefits are to numerous to list, but I will try. For starters - the Japanese and Sushi Bars are a delight! One of Austins original music venues - Threadgill's is less that a mile away. The unique Alamo movie and dining experience is less than 5 minutes away. The Saturday Farmers Market - a few blocks away- is also a delight. Just ask me and I will point you to so much more.

Very Cozy and Quiet

This was the perfect place for a weekend in Austin. I loved the cozy kitchen with cast iron skillets and ample pantry space.

The loft is pet friendly for smaller dogs, which was a big bonus. This loft is centrally located, close to all kinds of activities, except the lake.

The owner lives on property, but she gave us complete privacy. It was nice to arrive to fresh fruit on the bar and these DELICIOUS pecans in the fridge. I enjoyed a glass of wine on the patio, snacking on the pecans!
Owner's Response: Always so cool to have terrific guests! Thank you for the review. The lake is a 10 minute drive from the Loft where the ever so popular Tex-Mex "Hula Hut" starts serving at 10:30 on weekends. Also a place for swimming, picniks and fishing!

My daughter and I stayed here coming from Houston for a getaway and we really enjoyed it! Very nicely updated, clean and in a great location not too far from IH 35.

This is a great place to rent. It was very clean, well maintained, with a great location for Austin attractions. The owner was extremely helpful with directions. Her recommendation of the Little Deli Pizza in her neighborhood was wonderful. The have some of the best pizza and sandwiches available. We will definitely rent this outstanding property again when we return to Austin!

Perfect couples getaway

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and we loved it. The loft was smaller than we had thought, but the design made excellent use of space. The furnishings were nice and modern, while the loft itself was done in a rustic raw wood style that was quite charming. The property owner was helpful and friendly in addressing all of our needs. The neighborhood was quite pleasant to walk our dogs in. We would certainly recommend this property for couples or singles, but it might be a bit cramped for 4 people.

Prefect retreat on a busy business trip

This little place was a great escape for me during my recent work in North Austin. At the end of long days filled with meetings and people I was able to relax and recharge on my own private patio in a quaint little neighborhood. It made each evening a mini-vacation for me.

This was my first VRBO rental and my fist time to stay in this part of Austin. The owner was very welcoming and helpful with directions on getting around. Conveniently located near The Domain I was able to get to anything I needed in a matter of minutes.

This was the first time we used HomeAway and we were impressed with the convenience as well as the owner of this small one bedroom apartment in the Crestview neighborhood of Austin. It was very close and convenient to everything. The bed was comfy, the owner lives in the attached house and she was very friendly and accommodating. The apartment comes with a full kitchen, nice size refrigerator, a loft style bedroom, nice size shower/tub. We would definitely recommend this loft apartment to our friends. Great stay, quiet neighborhood across the street from the park.

I have also added cable TV and I am still providing a tasty treat of cinnamon pecans. The pecans, of course, are picked from the 3 huge pecan trees in the back yard.

Really enjoyed my stay in this modern beautiful property. The loft bedroom in the trees was perfect. Wish I had had more time to sit out on the patio.

Crestview is a lovely walkable neighborhood. The Crestview IGA and the Little Deli were a short walk away.

The resident property owner was very friendly and helpful. She quickly responded to all my requests.

After an extended stay at a boring hotel by the airport, this was a welcome oasis.

Our stay in the guest loft was very comfortable. We were visiting family in Austin and it was the perfect "get away" for some down time. The kitchen is well stocked and useful. The loft bedroom is light filled and relaxing. The bed is firm. The bathroom is newly renovated and nice. Considering the high hotel rates in Austin these days - the price was a real steal.
Owner's Response: Always an absolute pleasure to have awesome guests. Did I mention, I'm getting a microwave for the kitchen!

Great find in north-central Austin

The apartment made for a great home base on a recent trip to Austin.

It's small but efficient being a loft -- the upstairs hosts queen bed/bath and downstairs is a small kitchen and living room. There's also a small private patio off the kitchen, which was nice for reading in the morning.

The owner lives in the attached apartment, which was great -- she was extremely hospitable and available.

There's a great park across the street and plenty of room for running in the neighborhood if you're into that sort of thing.

Perfect for someone not looking to spend a ton of time inside but needing a home base while In town.
