Great place near a lake. The owners are the nicest people we met in Norway. Extremely clean and comfortable house. Great terrace with possibity for barbeque. In short: if you are looking for a quiet and wonderfull place: go there!

A lovely house in a beautiful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Frolandhouse. The weather was relatively kind to us and we enjoyed plenty of time outdoors in and around Froland and further afield.

Well we got lucky with the weather in the end! 4 days of beautiful sunshine that really made our holiday!

We loved the beach at Storesand and drinking coffee in Grimstad and the house was without doubt the nicest house we have ever rented.

Thanks so much for making the house so special and thank you for your kind hospitality, always looking to make our stay more pleasurable.

Next time we will bring our golf clubs!

We spent a quiet week (second half June 2009) in Frolandhouse and enjoyed every day of it: the surroundings, great weather, the peacefulness (in our hectic lives), the kindness of our hosts and hospitable house.



Moreover, the fly-fishing in the lake was fun: nothing very technical but lots of (rather small) trout and perch. I'll send the picture of the big one that didn't get away.



The comfort of the house was OK and as stipulated in the Internet.



One minor remark: we missed a microwave to warm up the bottles of our young boys.

Many thanks – our holiday in Norway was one of our best. We have travelled to many countries and never stayed in a house that was as well presented or beautifully located. The area has so much to offer that we never had to travel far. A tranquil haven away from it all.

It was a really pleasant stay in the farm house, because the nice talks we had with the owners who have helped us with every little problem. The house was extremely clean, a seperate bedroom for all of us, computer for the kids, and a nice kitchen. We enjoyed the view on the lake, the nice neighbourhood, the silence and the long days.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely town/area. We have had a very nice experience that will stay in our memories forever. 2 years ago we came to Norway, and we stayed in many hotels. Wir haben im Sommer 2010 unseren Familienurlaub in diesem wunderschönen und liebevoll eingerichteten Haus verbracht, welches wir gerne samt Natur und See mit nach Hause genommen hätten. Wir fühlten uns wie in eine vergangene Zeit zurückversetzt durch die Einrichtung und Fotos im Hause. Ellen und Svein haben wir schnell ins Herz geschlossen. Sie waren stets bemüht, dass wir uns wohlfühlen.
In den 14 Tagen - teils mit Sonne und auch mit Regen - war uns nie langweilig. Wir haben geangelt, im See gebadet, Heidelbeeren gesammeln, gelesen und diese grenzenlose Ruhe genossen... Unsere Kinder haben sich auch sehr wohlgefühlt. Noch jetzt sagen die beiden: Norway was great. It was our best holiday :-)
Wir kommen gerne wieder.
